Some good friends took us for a visit to Javea, and that was their favourite place to eat. I have to agree, the food was really good, we ordered a nice rice "arroz meloso", very tasty. Hand-made croquettes and seafood appetizers also were fantastic. Service was a little slow (maybe too crowded in Easter?) and did not tells us that... More

One of our favorite restaurants in Javea, great view from the far end of the Arenal beach. Sea bass baked in salt, the various rice with shell fish, great steak!

There are about three other eateries in the area that can compare to this place but Los Remos just offers a better all round service than its competitors. Prices are what you'd expect for a mid/high range restaurant in Jávea and their menu is pretty extensive. We had steaks and a couple of really decent starters followed by great desserts.... More

The weather has been unseasonably poor recently in the Javea area, but, today the sun was out and the Playa del Arenal was looking great. Los Remos is at the far end of the promenade from the Parador de Javea which is the hotel we are staying at and which I will do a review of later. We stopped by... More

I went there with a friend on A Saturday evening. They seated us, as requested, at the best table in the house. We ordered our meals, and received our appetizers in about 45 minutes. Slow but OK. The food was fine, but not as described on the menu. Then we waited for 90 minutes for the entrees to arrive. I... More

We tried los Remos in June and had good food but a bad service experience and came away feeling that it was overpriced and not worth it. But we decided to give it another try a couple of days ago and the experience was awful. To say that we had bad service would be an understatement; it was non existent.... More

There were 14 of us for lunch, service and food were very good indeed. Everyone spoke very highly of the meals they were served and nobody was disappointed. The lunch menu was very good value. Very pleasant ambience both on the terrace for pre-luncheon drinks and inside for the meal. No complaints at all, the quality of the food and... More

We have been to this fine Spanish restaurant for many years but now a strange Japanese influence is showing itself from the woven wood false ceiling to the Spanish/Japanese 'fusion' cuisine evidenced in some parts of the menu. We did give a couple of the starter dishes a go but were underwhelmed to say the least. Thankfully the remainder off... More

After years of spending a wonderful evening eating excellent food and being served by attentive staff, we were shocked by the turn around. Bad service, poor quality food overly priced. Never again.
