First impression- there’s was a strange smell in the restaurant, like my grandmother’s house. We arrived at 6 on a staturday and received good service up until the meal was served. We enjoyed the app (spinach and artichoke dip), and dinner was ok. Once we...More

Being a history buff, I have always wanted to go to the Colonial Inn. It did not disappoint me!! The inn holds true to its past. From the pictures on the wall to the original creaky floors. The food and service didn’t disappoint either. The...More

It is most unfortunate that The Colonial Inn is the only show in town for some things, including afternoon tea. This results in very poor customer service, which we need to blame on management/training vs. the actual staff. I have never had a positive experience...More

When we moved to Concord in 1980 this was the place to go to get solid, stolid Yankee fare, with a staff to match. Today it offers a choice of dining rooms with its flagship (Merchants Row) as good as the best mid-scale restaurants. We...More

Respectable traditional fare in a historic building. Concord has strong narratives during the colonial and Revolutionary periods, and the Inn is housed in a beautiful building. Food is of good quality and service is friendly and professional.

After attending our annual performance of Dickens' A Christmas Carol on Saturday December 23rd, we proceeded to the Colonial Inn for dinner. The holiday decorations, the warm, homey atmosphere in the Tap Room, and the delicious food made our holiday tradition most enjoyable. It was...More

Where to begin? We came here on the Friday after Thanksgiving at 1:30 for a later lunch. Perhaps this was our big mistake. The restaurant was packed but they were able to barely accommodate our group of 7 - but they did, to their credit....More

We stopped here for a light lunch, and it was perfect. We all go soup (all three were delicious) and sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. We also walked through the inside, and it was amazing. There is so much history everywhere you go,...More

In the town center as it has been continuously for hundreds of years is The Colonial. Stop and have a bite at least. A true New England "Grande Dame" that deserves a little attention from the 21st century. Across the street lies a little memorial...More

Brunch is a buffet style. Don't know the exact price because drinks were not included in the brunch cost but were, of course, on the bill.
