Three cheers for restaurants & inns that survive and thrive over many generations, as this fine place does. The dining spaces are cozy, comfortable, and as close as you can get to colonial. Food here exceeds expectations and is reasonably priced. Expect a bit of a wait to be seated, though, especially in summer - this place is understandably popular... More

The main dining room in this historic inn is the epitome of unchanging graciousness. The menu is varied, with daily specials, many of which fit the description of upper-level comfort food. We had the prime rib, which was delicious, and left room for the Indian Pudding dessert. They have Downeast Hard Cider, one of my favorites, on the drinks menu.... More

We had a dinner with friends in a weekend. The place is so charming with so much history in it. You can read the pictures on the wall or just look around to appreciate the architecture. The food and service is good. It is located right in the center of the town, but we did not have trouble finding parking... More

Wow, didn't see this one coming. With charming older New England inns you expect atmosphere but you worry that the kitchen may have stopped trying 100 years ago. Was I wrong. The magic in the kitchen is the reason to return here often. Chicken pot pie, how to make it stand out? These guys figured it out. The crust is... More

We enjoy visiting her, especially for the Sunday brunch buffet. It's nice without being overwhelming, good variety of breakfast and lunch/dinner items. Service is generally good to excellent.

Colonial Inn has it all. It's a great place for a nice lunch indoors or out on the front porch during the summer, afternoon tea and fancy sandwiches, a drink in their pub, or a sit down dinner in one of their several dining rooms. You can spend as little or as much as your wallet permits: there's something for... More

Have been there twice, once for Valentines day and the other on a special occasion for dinner both times. Bear in mind this is an old inn located in Concord Mass. So the floor slant a little and creak a little plus each room is different not cookie cutter. The first time we eat there we were seated by a... More

We likes the colonial interior of the Liberty Room. Surprisingly empty for a weeknight so we had prompt service. Good beer and cocktails. Squash soup was tasteless. Salad with steak OK with nice salad but undercooked steak. Burger special mix of duck, turkey and chicken was good with fries.

My wife and I had a nice Sunday brunch with our daughter and son-in-law. The food was good and the selections varied and well-chosen. This is a busy restaurant, even in winter, but we enjoyed the setting. Not a gourmet choice, but well-located in central Concord, with good shopping (antique) options nearby. $35 for the brunch buffet (without alcohol) was... More

I was traveling with my teenage son and daughter, and we wanted a good, clean hotel not too far from downtown Boston, but far enough to ease the price a little. We could not have found a better spot! After spending the day at the Museum of Fine Arts, and then walking the Battle Road between Concord and Lexington, the... More
