Not a place for vegetarians but a paradise for meat lovers. My grilled lamb shoulder was perfect. Never have seen this cut of meat grilled like this but wow! Great choice.

Cal Cofa is definitely the best restaurant in Llivia. So you better reserve if you want to enjoy a meal there... Great local products (mushrooms, vegetables from the region...), fantastic meat served on a hot stone, amazing "omelette norvegienne"... you will not regret a dinner there! 2 services at night: 8-8:30pm and 10pm.

All the staff so so friendly. Complimentary sangria (yummy) and, at the end of the meal, Limoncello. Didn't choose particularly well (our first night facing a menu in Spanish) but husband's calamari was out of this world. And the chips with my joue du porc (two large pieces grilled on the bone, very different from how I do it at... More

Everything we ate was fantastic! As my son said, "Espectacular". You should definitely try the "Filet with Foie" and the "Vedella tallada a l'antiga". The Croquetas are very good as well. You should not miss the desserts. We try the "Chocolate Fondant" and "Pastel de Queso al Horno". Both really good. And the Service is really nice. So, this place... More

Keen on skiing? Is mountaneering your thing? Are you a trekker? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you might want to visit La Cerdanya in the Pyrenees. If you make this decission, I strongly recomend visiting Llívia (a lovely place with an odd story) and once there going to Cal Cofa for a meal is a must.... More

It was a lovely sunny autumn day and as it was a bank holiday we had booked ahead the night before to reserve. It is a very small intemate place and they do 2 sittings for lunch the first at 1pm and the second at 3pm, we were given the choice and went for the later sitting. To start with... More

The menu was intriguing and the dishes very well prepared & presented. The waitress was helpful in helping choose between so many tempting options. The restaurant was busy and atmospheric, but we were served in good time. House cocktail & digestif are included. One needs to book in advance. The presence of many middle-aged French couples - who rather fancy... More

Just got back from the central square in Llivia where we had booked a table at the highly recommended Cal Cofa. So we arrived on time. And waited by the bar while three staff looked at us, while drying glasses and chatting. I politely spoke to one in my pretty good Spanish explaining that we had a reservation and could... More
