It was my 3rd year in Almuñécar and Elsie Cortejillo never disappoints. You can sit at the bar with a cold beer and tapas/racion watching La Liga in friendly local company or sit and have a meal from the great menu. Some English spoken but this is the authentic cerveceria experience. Very good wine too. I couldn't visit Almuñécar without... More

Stopped for coffee mid morning. Quiet place with my friend and a German couple the only patrons. Very cheap as a lot of places are for coffee around here. Service was fine as was everything else.

Been here several times and the food is always great. Try the almejas for example. Very good prices. The staff is helpful and though its a quite big restaurant it feels familiar.

We stopped in here last night for a break from our walk. After ordering our drinks the waitress brought out a lovely dish of tortillas with a ham and cheese center along with a tricolor pasta salad. All for the price of a drink. Our second round came with a big bowl of mussels. With all of these incentives to... More

On 16.July we werde Lucky to get a rable for 12 right along the beach. Excellent seafood, grilled turbot, lamb shoulder, duck breast and pork sirloin. Everyone enjoyed the calm atmosphere and kind service personel. Recommended.

We called in for dinner, no problem obtaining a table. There is an extensive menu - lots of fish. The young waiter was very nice, brought our drinks with tapas whilst we waited for our food. To start, we has leek soup and peppers stuffed with prawns and cod. Lovely! For mains we had entrecot, chicken with garlic and chicken... More

Went there last night. Right off the bat we had to look for a different place to sit because another couple brought a dog in to the covered outside area. Non-service animals aren't supposed to be in restaurants or stores but people routinely ignore it and the restaurants let them get away with it. Once we were reseated my wife... More
