This is a great little restaurant. Still good & well worth seeking out. We had a delicious menu del dia. We had previously done a tapas cookery course here 6 years ago. Jesus & his family are so welcoming & if you appreciate good food that's what you get here

We happened upon this place accidentally and couldn't have been more delighted with our meal. The food was exceptional as was the wine! The chef put so much attention into each plate - absolutely delicious! The prices were amazing as well. I can't recommend this place highly enough- the food was inventive and and extremely well executed. Please visit this... More

We stumbled across this place tucked away on the edge of the old town. The food was simple but excellent including pate casero, secreto iberico, and cazon en adobe.

popped in one night and it was 'Blues night 's they had laid on a special menu - they managed to squeeze us in and ordered from the regular menu as we felt we couldn't cope with the 10 courses but good value for 20 Euros we thought. The music was excellent bonus. Super bottle of Roble to go with... More

A warm welcome and excellent food in a rustic setting make this a charming place to drop in in an evening. Lively music (including flamenco) on a Wednesday evening adds to the allure.

Very good food, hight prices and good drinks (except the red wine) Located in a beautiful area of the downtown area. Very nice place with Andalusian decoration and very comfortable.

New Years Eve - Noche Vieja - spent at La Corrala was a wonderful night! Tony and Jesus and their children served a fantastic Menu - it was like eating in a private Dining Room! Food and drinks excellent We truly enjoyed that night - and all the others - at this nice place!

We had our late lunch at around 3pm on Nov 26, 2014. The owner was very friendly and recommended the Menu of the Day for €10. For my entrée, I got the Tortillas de Camorones, which turned out to be deep fried so I gave them to my hubby. He got a nice house salad that we shared. For the... More

Situated in the back streets off the old town, We booked for 10 people, the staff couldnt be more helpful, food was lovely but a bit pricier than other places we have visited, but dont be put off by the price the venue and staff certainly make paying that little bit more worthwhile.

The quality of the food was ok or good, the stuff were very friendly and I could write a much better review if the prices were not far too high. We paid around 80€ for two people but you can have the same quality for around 50€ in Almunecar. Unfortunately I can't recommend this restaurant.
