I love a place that brews its own beer. Tasting flights available. Great food and ambiance. Knowledgeable staff and good efficient service. Would recommend.

Went there because it was within walking distance to the Hyatt. The food was OK. I had the brisket sandwich and my friends had their pizzas. Our waitress was very nice but didn't come back to check on us after we paid and sat and...More

Visited for dinner. Food was basic and only average, despite other reviews I had read. I got maxadilla....dry chicken. Cocktail very weak. I do have to say service was good. Fried cheesecake so so. Not really cheesecake, more like fried pastry dough with a little...More

Cool atmosphere, good beer, excellent appetizers and friendly staff. We got quesadillas to share and had salad and a pale ale. Seemed like a locals place and it is next to a small park.

Very good "American" bar / restaurant food and beer selection. Family of 6 all enjoyed. Myriads of people waiting on us but it felt like no one person assumed full responsibility for us, which could be improved upon.

The food was unbelievable great. Me and my husband were on vacation, decided to stay in Atlanta for the night. We found this place online and decided it would be great to try, since he is beer drinker. He said the beer was okay but...More

During my stay in Atlanta, I visited here twice. The first night was to have a few drinks after dinner. The beer menu is great and the cocktails were well made. Only complaint with the beer menu is that several items printed were unavailable. The...More

Was only there one time during bowl season - I recall tvs showing different games but not tvs everywhere like a sports bar. We could see one of the tvs fine from our table. There is a 2nd floor as well but I didn't go up... More

Our reservation was at dinner time. While I don't know what time their kitchen closes, it has a lively bar and I bet the kitchen is open late. It would be worth it to give them a call to make sure. It is a fun place that... More

Max Lager's was one of the first restaurants to bring the fresh and natural wood-fired menu concept to Atlanta. The art of cooking with wood enhances the Max Lager's experience with bold flavors simply not found with alternative cooking methods. We feel that the investment made in the wood-fired grill pays great dividends to our guests. All Max Lager's menu items are prepared daily from scratch. Wood-fired steaks, burgers, seafood, ribs, and pizza are Max Lager's signature items. An inspired selection of entree salads and pastas add variety to the American menu. Max Lager's is the oldest brewpub in Georgia, opening in March 1998. Many of Max Lager's house brewed beers have won major awards including two awards at the Great American Beer Festival in Colorado. Max Lager's offers a full bar, wines, local and national craft beers, with a 32 tap draft system in our upstairs bar highlighting a selection of the best craft beers. If you are looking flavorful food and drinks in a warm and inviting atmosphere - Max Lager's is the place to be! Cheers.
