We had a party of five for dinner at Alma Cocina. The atmosphere was lively and exciting. The wait staff were very attentive without being bothersome. We ordered the chip and salsa tasting and all three salsas were great. Not too spicy and very flavorful. I had the braised goat huarache and it was the perfect blend of spice and... More

Typically don't pick Mexican restaurants. Salsa and guacamole was out of this world. Ordered pork belly tacos. Unbelievable!!! Thick slabs of pork belly melt in your mouth. Braised beef tacos were amazing as well as braised goat. Yes, I said goat. You can't go wrong.

This has a nice atmosphere, but a very limited menu. Not like a standard mexican style, but completely different. Mine was a bit on the spicy side, but made it through dinner. Large open style place, and was a bit on the noisy side.

We stopped for lunch after being at the Atlanta Home and Garden Show at America's Mart. It was a great place to refuel. Great guacamole, and pork tacos! Not to mention the margarita was delicious! Atmosphere was trendy...open and contemporary. Glad we stopped in!

Second time here. The drinks are great, no skimping on the alcohol! We had the guacamole appetizer and it was good. Each of us had a different entree and they were all delicious. Scallops, mole, shrimp and tacos. We also shared the flourless chocolate cake. It was small but perfect ending. Laura was our server and was on the ball... More

We greatly enjoyed our evening at Alama. We had finished a long day at the market and did not have reservations. The staff was nice enough to suggest the wait list and after a drink from the bar our table was ready. The entire staff was awesome . The manager was quick to check with us and insure our satisfaction.

I come to this restaurant every time I'm in Atlanta. I usually sit at the bar. Food is great especially the fried avocado but the bartenders could be much nicer.

Enjoyed New Year's Eve dinner immediately following the Peach Bowl. Restaurant was full with a festive audience. Despite NYE and the post-game rush, service was outstanding, with Patrick adding real personality and fun to our evening. We tried their traditional guacamole, and chicken tostada, along with two of the speciality margaritas. The dishes and drinks were fantastic, with "right sized"... More

What a treat! A salsa and guacamole menu?!?! Plan to spend 15 minutes reading and deciphering the menu. It was so unusual... I wanted to try everything. We settled on the guacamole sampler and salsa sampler along with entrees. All were so filling and delicious. They have specialty margarita as well... We could have spent all night here.

We ate here twice because it was close to the Westin Peachtree - so happy it was!! It has lots of bar space and the restaurant is beautiful inside. Try the guacamole tasting plate - yummy.
