When Asador el Muelle us closed I sometimes lunch here. Food is basic, Andalucian, nothing elegant, just honest home cooking. Inexpensive quality food, decent wine, friendly service. Can't really go wrong dining here. Also serve terrific things at breakfast. Try a mollete(local oval bread, toasted) with olive oil on the side and a clove of garlic. (Ask for mollete con... More

great service in a clean and hospitable restaurant - basic menu and not very verge friendly, but really great service and terrific "meat and tomatoes"

Always a favourite - seems to be the only place for Sunday lunch in the town. Tasty home made food, huge choice and great value - come and dine with the locals for very little euro

This was our choice for lunch after visiting the nearby Cueva del Gato. Plenty of parking for this popular restaurant. Get ther early to be seated as it is very well patronized by locals and tourists on walking holidays. It caters for groups of walkers as well. There is a very varied Menú del Día at 7€ per head with... More

We came here on recommendation of a friend from the region for the 8 Euro lunch menu. The meal was excellent with a good choice. My girlfriend is a vegetarian, and she was able to eat well here too. The location is near Benaojan train station, and is a bit out of the way unless you have a car -... More

We were recommended this restaurant by a friend who grew up in Ronda, and whose family still go there - and we were not disappointed! It offers a 3 course meal at lunch for 8 euros which won't leave you hungry - with good choices for the starters, mains and desserts. Even though we ate there on a Tuesday, and... More

Ate here twice in May 2012 and returned twice again in May 2013. Would have recommended it sooner but it wasn't listed by TA then. We only tried it because it was mentioned in the Andalucia Rough Guide, otherwise we would have been discouraged by its somewhat unprepossessing appearance. Having taken the plunge, we found what most of the contributors... More

The food was simple and well prepared for a good value price. You can wait a while before being served outside.

This place next to the railroad station has a 10-euro menu that includes two dishes, drink, bread, and complimentary olives. I had the gazpacho, that wonderful rich variety with the little bowl of fresh chopped vegetables to add and the chicken filet. Very good!

We stopped here for drinks and a coffee on a lovely warm March morning so it was delightful to be able to sit in the little courtyard with the sun shining, listening to the birds. Good value snacks and drinks
