I came here while on a short walking break in Grazalema. The restaurant was reassuringly busy. The local speciality trout was well prepared. Would return if in town again.

This is a pretty basic place which unfortunately is priced above the quality and value on offer. Raciones were made up of more than 50% french fries so felt poor value. Poor waiter was pleasant but run off his feet. Would not return.

Me and my boyfriend have been here before and we really like the food. This time we ordered the typical cheese from el bosque which is very good and la ensaladilla rusa which is good as well (for my taste maybe a little bit too much cream). The sandwich with a filete de cerdo and jamón serrano with cheese (would... More

After walking a for a couple of hours we were really ready for lunch and this place was great. We visited during easter week and the whole place was heaving. The food was fresh and home made, the waiters incredibly attentive and the whole experience was great. It's good quality food, not fancy and quite rustic. We had fresh local... More

The menu is par for the course for this part of Cadiz. The prices are on the low side. The food is prepared nicely and the service is OK. Absolutely nothing to complain or rave about. If you expect reasonable food at a reasonable price this place is for you. Seating both outside and inside. Would leave it a while... More

We had all our meals there over our 2 day stay why ?. Because of the friendly service great food from tapas to mains dishes, lots of local dishes on the menu we particularly liked the wild boar and pig cheeks in a rich sauce. Both the food and drinks were good value and good quality. Meson el Duque is... More

This restaurant seats about 20 or 30 outside and every table has an ash tray. This is where the smokers sit. Or you can inside and listen to the loud TV which was showing The Simpsons dubbed in Spanish when we were there. We did not like either option. We don't smoke and did not appreciate the French tourists blowing... More

We happened upon this restaurant quite by luck while driving through the Pueblos Blancas. The waiter was wonderful and even though he spoke very little English and we spoke even less Spanish, we ended up with a fantastic lunch for four with beer and wine for 35 Euros. The waiter indicated he could pick a selection of tapas for us... More

We came here on a Wednesday around 20.00 and we're friendly welcomed by the waitress. My girlfriend and I both chose the 10 euro menu which was composed of a starter, full ración main course and desert. Which was more than enough! Even though the starter was simple ( soup with egg, ham and rice), the main course of freshly... More

This is a popular place with locals and our favourite place to eat in El Bosque. It is good value with large portions of home cooked food with very reasonable prices and great house wine (Beronia rioja by the glass 1.20 Euros). Their trout (from the village trout farm) wrapped in Serrano ham is always fantastic and so fresh. We... More
