Our recent visit to the Kedron Valley Inn restaurant was memorable. While tasting a signature maple infused martini we were warmly greeted by both the Manager and the Innkeeper. The service was attentive and the waitress made wonderful recommendations about the chef's specialties being offered that evening. The flavors of Vermont were intertwined throughout our gastronomic experience. Our birthday group... More

We were staying just down the road on our annual fall getaway and decided on KVI for dinner. It's classic New England. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the tavern before dining in the main room. The bartender was cool, she reminded me so much of my sister. We started with salads and both thought the dressing was excellent.... More

After a journey of two planes, bus and car; Kedron was just the spot. Short drive out of town, quiet, great food and service. A little pricy but worth every penny. We sat on the massive front porch, perfect weather with a full moon. My fresh fish was wonderful. My wife had the crab cakes which were fair.

I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but if you are staying at the Inn, it is a nice clean decent dinner. Some of the food came out cold, some hot. And the waitress didn't know the menu, bonked 2 of us in the head with a wine bottle and was generally absent.

We ate out on the front porch and had a wonderful meal in a terrific setting. The service was first rate and the staff very friendly.

While on a long weekend in Vermont we stopped by here for dinner. The service was very good, but the food was only so/so. I had the Berkshire pork loin which had a lot more fat on it then I would have like. One in our group had the crab cakes which didn't taste like crab only the hot spices... More

We were staying at the Inn on a short vacation and decided to have dinner at the restaurant - It was wonderful! We sat outside on the front porch and it was incredible, everything from start to finish was great. Very peaceful as well, you can hear the stream and all the wildlife right from the doorstep on the KVI!... More

For the Second time this Summer I found myself in Woodstock, Vermont and decided to dine at the Kedron Valley Inn and Tavern. Just like the last time, it was a very enjoyable experience. The dinning manager remembered us from our previous visit and helped us to be seated on their beautiful patio (with an incredible view). From there the... More

Lovely spot on the front porch. Had a few apps before dinner. The charcuterie plate was extremely expensive but hysterically small and the sausages were nothing to write home about. Food was just okay. Salmon special was especially bland. Two of our party had steak which was rather touch even though it was medium and medium rare. Won't be going... More

Lovely setting, excellent service and way above-average food. Would definitely return. There aren't a lot of sophisticated restaurants in the area, but this one is worth a drive. Prices were comparable to large cities, worth every cent.
