We have dined at Cloudland Farm several times, now, which includes a change in chefs (about 4-5 times a year, now about five years). We have never been disappointed at this essentially farm-to-table venue, where you are made aware of the place of origin of each component of the evening's menu. We, and look forward to each visit--even to the... More

Allan, Thanks for taking the time to write a review on Trip Advisor. We are so glad that you have enjoyed your meals at Cloudland over the years. I thought you might enjoy knowing that our head Chef, Ira White, actually trained under our original chef (Nick Mahood) who opened the restaurant with us back in 2010. Ira was our... More

We didn't know what to expect when Google maps told us we had arrived at Cloudland Farm. All was dark. A security light came on in a blinding flash of light. What IS this place, we asked each other. Answer: a private house 1/2 mile away from the delightful, charming farm restaurant. Once we sorted that out, we had a... More

We are so glad that you enjoyed your dinner at Cloudland. Thanks for taking the time to write a review of your visit. It made me chuckle to read about Google maps leading you to the neighbor's house. We often tell people to use the directions on our website rather than using GPS, etc., because we have a lot of... More

This restaurant only accepts limited numbers of reservations and offers one multi course gourmet meal per night. They will made accommodations for dietary needs if they are told in advance. All of the ingredients are grown on theirs or other local farms and the gourmet chef is extremely talented / creative. We will definitely go back! During this time of... More

What a treat! A picturesque spot, lovely food in a spacious dining room, and pleasant service come together at Cloudland Farm. Pot roast was on the menu the evening we were there. It was melt in your mouth tender served over a baked potato. One of our party was a vegetarian, and they served him a colorful vegetable assortment. Everything... More

We were a group of 7. Food was very fresh but nothing special. The menu was extremely limited and overpriced. The dining room was charming but very noisy. The service was excellent.

Cloudland Farm is one of those gems hidden in the hills of Vermont near Woodstock. They pride themselves on providing beautifully presented meals with mostly produce from their farm. The service is efficient (maybe a bit too much so as a space between courses would be welcomed) and friendly. It's BYO only and they are happy for you to come... More

Not much to add more than what has already been said. I moved to the area a few years ago and have visited Cloudland Farm on a few occasions. Owners are very helpful on some of my farming needs and have also provided some amazing dinning experiences.

Cloudland farm is a family owned and operated farm with a separate restaurant operated by the family. It serves mostly meat and vegetables grown on the farm year round. The restaurant is a new building maintained immaculately, white linen on the tables and a very friendly and professional staff. The chef is professionally trained and creative. The hilltop location provides... More

Great food - it's a fixed menu each night, but very fresh and very good. A bit out of the way up in Pomfret, and a BYOB policy that includes a corking fee.

We just hosted a Welcome to Vermont dinner at Cloudland Farm Restaurant. We had planned this event for months. It was part of our son's wedding weekend. I can't say enough about this place. The drive to the restaurant is spectacular--truly a Vermont picture book setting. The food is outstanding--presentation beautiful. The owner makes sure that everything is perfect for... More
