Located in the heart of Benahavis, this restaurant is part of the gastronomic history of this lovely town nestled in the rolling countryside Guadalmina Valley, also known as the dining room of the Costa del Sol. Since his wanderings began back in the early 80s as a small eatery, and blunted for their good work and gastronomic treatment and family-friendly service. Now, in the hands of the second generation of the family it has not only managed to maintain that spirit, but has even improved, growing and refining their dishes and service. We will provide an extensive and exquisite menu that combines both local cuisine and the best of typical Spanish recipe. All this washed down with one of the

Fantastic restaurant, super great food, great staff. Staff all wearing face coverings. Great service.. Best restaurant in Benahavis. The suckling pig is Devine, portions very generous. Considering how great this place is, it’s not too expensive, great value for money.

We are here now at the Resterant . Initially told no room , then Seated by an aggressive waiter and each waiter feels like he is doing you a favour by serving you ! . The head server seems to be bullying the staff and...although food ok . NEVER AGAIN . In summary the customer experience is king and we did not feel it here !!😢 as there are equally as good in the town .More

I’m a regular at this restaurant maybe 5 or 6 times a year spending on average 400 euros a visit Foods ok not as good as it once was and portions now smaller but in a nice setting . Well it normally is ! Last...night Saturday 25th September we were 3 guys out for dinner on the last night of a short break We were a table of 3 professional guys ( grandparents) sat opposite a table of about 8-10 adults and an adjoining table of 12 plus young children who were very noisy and allowed to run around the street screaming at each other spoiling an evening for other diners with little input from parents or staff We asked to move table to the other end of the street as there’s was between 6 to 8 empty tables Off the table staff went to see the owner to see if that was allowed!, They came with No sorry not possible , we really should have left at that point but dinner was ordered so we waited and waited and waited when it was served we ate quickly got the bill and left The 6 to 8 tables that were empty when we asked to move were still empty when we left ..... great customer service oh and the 12 or so unruly kids were still creating a ruckus in the street spoiling the evening for other diners The situation could have been redeemed by management but clearly they weren’t interested in keeping our custom staff were apologetic and couldn’t understand why we hadn’t been moved So after been a regular for at least the last 8 years we won’t spend another euro in the place Don’t let it keep you away from Benahavis just go spend your hard earned cash at somewhere that appreciates your customMore

This has been a favourite of ours for a long time but this latest visit was the first for three years. Things have changed but it is still a very good restaurant. It’s got really big by expanding down the street but it’s still busy...so make a reservation. The service is fun and friendly and the place crackles with atmosphere. We just shared a prawn cocktail and The suckling pig. Both were enormous and gave us a big takeaway even though we were sharing both! The pork was particularly good and cooked to perfection. It isn’t a cheap evening out though which is fair enough but I don’t think charging over €5 for a bottle of sparkling water is fair. Other than that, you feel you have had a proper night out and it’s an experience that shouldn’t be missed.More

We visited last week and have been visiting this restaurant for the last 20 years. I have been very positive in the past. However, the restaurant has expanded too much in my opinion and the service is suffering. We were rushed from start to finish...(5 of us). We had been at the table for less than 1 minute when we were asked to order food, we hadn’t even ordered or seen a drinks menu. It’s too rushed! The restaurant are now picking quantity of tables over quality. For the first time, we left disappointed.More

Having been to this delightful place a few times we took the family and were certainly not disappointed. Sat outside on the small street watching the world go by we were greeted by Pate and toast followed by warm bread. Ordered chicken, prawns, sea bass...and steak and all 4 of us were delighted with our choice. Meat was cooked to perfection and the vegetables were plentiful. The potato gratin that comes with the rice, chips and vegetables was so nice that we asked for more which was given almost immediately. A drink on the house and mini ice cream to finish off with an extremely accommodating staff who were equally friendly. Certainly will be returning in the not too distant future.More

Initially ignored by staff, even after asking for a table. After asking a third waiter if there was availability we were told we could sit inside. Waited ages to order drinks, for drinks to arrive and same for ordering and getting our food, practically being...ignored and forgotten about by our waiter. Asking to order felt like we were irritating our waiter. The food itself was very good and went part of the way to redeem the horrendous service when it finally arrived, although I am unsure it’s overall worth the money and time!More

Filet steak is top - only 4* as we ordered four steaks and feel the side portions weren’t sufficient for the whole table (and that we would’ve been given the same amount for two people)

Sorry for late reply. The only other way of booking is to visit the restaurant if you are staying in the area. I've always booked by phone with no problems.
