This was the worst dinner we had in Portugal. The quality of the food and the type of cooking were really bad. The best thing we had was the sparkling water! All of this for 50€ each... a really high price for Portugal standards. Bad...value for money ratio. We had lots of dinners and lunches in Portugal... all great and cheap, but this was really a negative surprise, and is also the 4th reastaurant in Penice list! Absurd!More

Extraordinary fish/seafood and really humorous interactive service at this small highly recommended delight. The brother and sister front of house were completely our cup of fish soup/grilled sole,turbot/shellfish platter. VERY reasonable wines, extraordinary spider crabs, brilliant repartee, this place had our extremely demanding group agreeing...it’s a Worldie!! Highly recommended by TA and by our hotel we got there when they opened at 7. Very warm welcome and free to choose table. The seafood soup was not very good, but the fish soup much better. After that a sea food platter, where we...took the platter for one person at 50€ and shared. Perfect for us. The platter for two at 70 looked too much. The recommended dry white wine from Vino Verde at 16€ fitted perfectly. The house special dessert of a chocolate brownie with two scoops of ice cream for 6.5€ was perfect to share. Patricia and her team do an excellent job, in a tiny restaurant, of serving locally caught fresh fish and shell fish to locals and tourists alike. We've been coming here for over 15 years and never had a bad meal or been overcharged. Their house...white wine is a perfect accompaniment to most dishes but they also offer a wide range of alternatives. You must book at least 2/3 days in advance and a week or more in the Summer. It's not quiet but it's worth it!More

All of it was absolutely delicious and well worth the money, first time eating barnacles and they were surprisingly nice. Lots of crab, prawns, lobster - a real dining experience that me and my partner relished. The staff were super friendly and gave some really...great tips for the rest of our stay. If you’re in Peniche Portugal you must visit this amazing tiny family restaurant! You have to book in advance at least two days in advance. Great sea food and fish all super fresh... no deserts just ice cream but the food is yummy !
We came here for Sunday night dinner and it did not disappoint! The owner speaks perfect English and helped us figure out what we wanted. We started with Percebes which we had never tried so the waiter shows us how to eat them. We then...split clams, shrimps, and baby lobsters (witches?). Every thing was so good, the tiny lobsters and the clams were our absolute favorites. The clam broth could have been slurped up at the end it was so good. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time because they were turning people away by 7:30.More
Read a few reviews kids wouldn’t go eat as lots of fish however we persuaded my eldest to have steak. We will be back. Delicious and owner super friendly and helpful. One of the best restaurants we have eaten and reasonably priced in comparison.
