A good friend chose Malone's of Manassas for a 60th birthday party. I was in charge of the decorations so I went to check it out ahead of time. The event coordinator, waitstaff and bartender couldn't have been more helpful. The night of the party, which was held in the upstairs portion of this renovated church building, the staff went... This is fine dining restaurant. More expensive, but worth spending money. We have been satisfied with everything. With service, staff and food. We recommend this restaurant.

We went on a Saturday night. Three of us ordered soups. The bowls were hot, but the soup was just warm. We waited an hour before asking our server about our main courses. She said we were up next. Once again, same temperature problem. We could have complained, but we were all hungry. Food was good, however not spectacular or... More

Nice ambience, good service, really excellent cocktails and entrees- the only weak area was dessert. Our table of 4 tried several different desserts which were not nearly as good as the entrees. All in all, a good experience though!

Must try when in VA. The staff were extremely attentive and nothing we ask was any trouble. We opted to included whiskey which was really great. Expensive but worth it.Highly recommend

Decided to go upstairs and forego the expensive Valentines menu over the weekend. The place was packed-- never been before-- great atmosphere--food very heavy/beefy--not much for the vegetarian or salad eater-- truffled fries were great. Drinks were very good too. When the band started playing it was impossible to hold a conversation. Next time we would eat first, and just... More

Title says it all. It is expensive but delivers on the essentials. The only reason not a five star is I asked for a dry, unoaked Chardonnay and they didn't have an open bottle so offered a substitute which was OK but not what I wanted. Perhaps it's an unfair expectation but at these prices it seems they could risk... More

Had a memorable dinner on Halloween evening. Food quality and service were superb and appropriately priced for the fine restaurant this has become. The upstairs area is now open and is a lively, enjoyable scene. There is often live music and a great bar area. The downstairs restaurant is great for a special couples night out. My wife and I... Had brunch here and everything was really good- the brisket sandwich was amazingly tender and the cheese and peppers added great flavor. Shrimp and grits were also very good. Grits still had some texture, and the flavor was fabulous. The downstairs is nice, but upstairs is much more interesting- wish that had been open for brunch. Service was also great.... More

This was my first visit to Malones of Manassas. A friend and I came to the City of Manassas, First Friday with my dog and then decided to eat dinner. I asked the waitress at Malones if I could bring my dog and eat on the patio and she said “sure.” We settled on the table near the sidewalk, so... More
