This bar is great, underground and funky, serve till 2pm, which is much needed in this town. Very friendly staff, huge choices of vodkas and gins make for a great drinking bar. I even left my phone and someone ran after me to return 😀 thankyou. This bar is the high light of this town

Whilst staying in Montaione we were lucky to find Lo Strettoio. Usually the first thing I miss about home (apart from my dog) is English beer. This is the first holiday to buck that trend. All down to Lo Strettoio's great selection of high quality ales, expertly chosen and presented by Valentino, whose knowledge and enthusiasm shone through. He even... More

I don't know what it is exactly that makes this place so amazing, the ambience, the awesome selection of beers and spirits, or Valentino who runs it and who is genuinely excited and interested in the drinks he sells. Regardless, if you don't visit at least once during your stay in Montaione, you are missing out!

This is a lovely pub with a very friendly owner, passionate about his beer and music. He is happy to spend time explaining all the huge selection of drinks to you, in his excellent English. The beers are from around the world, it is the largest selection I have ever seen. The food here is good, but it is pub... More

Very different to most italian bars. Ask for some local beers and something different from the usual beers and bar staff and valentino have huge amount of knowledge and variety. Well worth asking for some beer advice. Friendly locals and nice feeling to the place.

Great pub with a large selection of beers, bottled and draught from Italy, UK & worldwide Shame I didn't get to try the EFC 1920. Owner and staff very friendly and I would recommend to any serious beer drinker who wants to go beyond Moretti & the usual Italian offerings Only a shame we discovered it at end of holiday.... More

A pub in Italy! Huge selection of beer from around the world. Great service, great atmosphere, and very good food. Great change of pace is to try the hamburger - clears the palate from all the pasta. Smokers - there is an indoor smoking area for you - which is nice after spending weeks in the street having a smoke.
