Great locally sourced food and good charcuterie. Don't be scared off by the formality - it is very comfortable inside and the service is wonderful. The crowd can be a bit staid, so bring your seersucker if it's hot out and you'll fit right in....More

Great service, good food, great Creme Brulee. Went for lunch on an employee birthday when I worked downtown, always enjoyable.

Lemaire is a lovely restaurant that is suitable for special occasions. It is a bit pricey....hence my rating of four stars.

I don't think you can find a bad pick on the menu and service at it's finest! I had the frois gras and it was divine and the local rockfish was yummy!

As a tradition, our family picks one night during the Christmas season for dinner at Lemaire. We dress us and enjoy great food in the middle of the best Christmas decorations in town. It is one of the highlights of our holiday time.

We were in business casual attire. Some were in suits, but we felt very comfortable in dress pants and dress shirt, but no jacket or tie. Hope that helps!

I think they could do it very well. BUT ask them what else is going on at the Restaurant/hotel at the same. We were there at the same time as the University of Richmond ring exchange dance. Lots of rather noisy college... More
