Two of us ate here on 9/20. First restaurant I can remember that charged for bread. The 30.00 Pan Seared Fish consisted of a very small portion of fish and maybe 50 cents worth of carrots and green peppers. While it was tasty it was...More

Loved the oysters and felt like the place was well run and lively. Not a quiet date restaurant, but a lively get together location.

The restaurant was beautiful, but the portions were so small that it was almost laughable. The $30 entree was the size of an appetizer and the appetizer was the size of the samples that they get you to try in the grocery story. I wouldn't...More

Food was great from Sub Rosa bread to dessert. Oysters were tasty. Charred octopus was great also...service was a little lacking which is why I gave it a 4 stars. We had to bring the check to another waitress. Ours never came back.

I had the pan seared scallops here last week and really enjoyed them. They were served over some kind of tasty corn and bean succotash, which complimented the scallops well. The restaurant itself has a new feel with a bit of a modern cosmopolitan atmosphere,...More

Enjoyed our 2nd stop on the Grace St Crawl at Rappahannock. Had drinks and oysters. They have a good beer selection and some good bourbons, but if you want Jack Daniels, he's not here ! All good otherwise.
