Quaint location, charming staff and amazing food! What a gem! I can't believe we have lived in Richmond all these years and have missed out on this spot.

This place is so cute and the food was delicious. They have a smaller menu but that's okay because they have a variety of foods and beer. Place is small but it's accommodating. The staff was very friendly and we will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed a late evening dinner in this quaint establishment. Had the special which was cod, with a caper cream sauce, served with brown rice and the vegetable of the day-braised collards. They were amazing. Cooking with bacon and duck fat, only wish I could learn how to make them at home. Wonderful service and we enjoyed the atmosphere as well.

This little gem is small, but the food is wonderful, down to the cute outdoor patio. It's in a private neighborhood that the locals stop in to have a drink and talk with each other. The owner is friendly and stops and talks to each customer. Love that there is not obnoxious music blasting and you can actually talk to... More

Ate here as a last minute decision and won't be going back. Great waiter, cute restaurant but the food was just average. Shrimp, hush puppies and the wings were good.

We were there March 10, 2016 and I would recommend The Franklin Inn for anyone who wants to relax, be entertained, and enjoy good food! It's in a great location, by Monument Avenue. We chose to sit outside, which was perfect! We had the Special of the evening, which was Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was delicious. Also, the hand cut... More

The bar and restaurant sits on a corner in one of the old Richmond neighborhoods. It has fine beers, the usual spirits, good bar food, and attractive specials. With a few tables and booths, it has a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The staff treat patrons in a welcoming manner. This establishment reminds me of similar neighborhood establishments in New Orleans.... More
