Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Today this place promises a lot but it fails, at least the day we went… it seems like there is no chef in the kitchen. Poor dishes sold to high… I do not recommend it at all. It is a pity because I expected a...lot and it was the worst experience in 12 days in Sicily. The couscous was with a poor fish not well clean and the sauce just tasted like cinnamon. The ice cream tuna with a cream not well compose not similar to ice cream or any other well done cream. A disaster for me.More

The 5 of us visited this wonderful restaurant as a treat for our last night of our wonderful 2 week Sicily holiday, and it didn’t disappoint. Whilst it may appear very professional, and it is, it’s not stuffy by any means and unlike la Cambusa...does a great job with service. We chose a couple off the antipasti menu and our waitress offered to serve up so we could all share and that was brilliant, not least the raw red prawns, swordfish and octopus - simply delicious. Mains including prawn tartar spagettone were exceptionally good for us all and having sampled 12 restaurants in our fortnight we all agreed that this is vying for top spot. Whilst it’s location makes it a little expensive, it is worth it - €250 for 5 of us with 2 bottles of €30 Sicilian rose.More

Decent seafood... however, I asked for a glass of “house wine” and the waiter comes out and starts opening a bottle. I stopped him and said “whoa, don’t open the bottle… I just wanted one glass of basic house wine.” To which he said “yes,...this is the house wine.” So he opened the bottle and poured me a small glass… on the bill the was a 10 euro fee for opening the bottle. He could’ve mentioned it as I was obviously not wanting to spend 17 euro on a small glass of white wine. Poor service. There’s lot of great options in the Marina, don’t support places that rip off tourists.More

This is a lovely restaurant in a great spot on the harbour. The food was absolutely delightful and the service was fantastic. My partner and I were given a glass of sparkling wine and some appetisers free of charge upon arrival, which was a great...touch. We shared the fried mixed seafood for starters - which was definitely enough for two. It comprised of calamari, sardines and some other twists on octopus which were truly divine. None of it was over-fried. It was crispy yet flakey at the same time; a real delight. For main I had the mackerel. Each bite was spiffing but I feel my girlfriend made the best choice. She ordered the baked tuna steaks which tasted utterly sublime. They were almost crispy on the outside but rare in the middle, beautifully salty but not in an overpowering way; just so succulent, so satisfying. Her portion was big so luckily she gave me a couple of pieces after I started grovelling to her. I like to think I make the best choices when the two of us are out for dinner, but not this time; I had to show real humility to persuade her to bequeath me some of her food. Thankfully, she duly obliged, making my life all the richer for it - even if I did lose some of my pride. We decided to get a pudding because we didn’t want the experience to end, thus ordering this caramel and ricotta pastry thing which came alongside a pot of sweet coffee sauce for us to douse over the unsuspecting desert. Each bite was absolutely stunning. We shared one between us and the portion was more than enough. My only criticism is that, depending on the time you dine here, you will hear loud trashy music from the bar next door. We sat down at 8pm and it continued until around 8.30pm. Considering most locals don’t tend to eat until around this time, it won’t be a problem for most who dine here. But for those that are thinking of booking before this time, this is something they may wish to consider. I think it would be harsh of me not to give this restaurant a five star review based on their noisy neighbours, as this is clearly no fault of Rosmarina. I simply recommend you book a table here from 20:30pm onwards - and I assure you you will be very glad of the experience. A truly dazzling meal!More

The food is above amazing. Raw materials excellent, th menu much about average. Probably best tuna tagliata I had in my life! The service is exceptional, experience unforgettable. On our short vacations we returned there for more. If you have a chance, go there, I...can assure you, you won't regret it. Probably one of my fav restaurants in the whole Sicily.More

It is not so easy as everybody think to eat good in Italy. A lot of tourists traps are waiting. Rosmarina is NOT one of them, it's delicious.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. When they found out that she had an allergy to seafood, the chef produced something marvellous at the drop of a hat. Service was as good as one could wish for, as were recommendations...re. wine. This is no doubt due to the attention to detail in, what is apparently, a newly-openned family restaurant. Pricing is good, given the high quality of the food and drink. Full marks to Azura, Ambra, and their team.More
