We stopped as we were going by. The staff was pleasant, the cocktails were okay but the food was lacking. We only tried a couple of appetizers and found them very bland. The chicken wings were supposed to be the specialty but they weren't very good. The sampler platter was edible but I wouldn't have eaten it if I wasn't... More

I love this place for beer and appetizers. Nicole and Patty at the bar are so friendly and so are all the guest. Love playing keno here. Not were I would go for a family dinner but great for beers and meet new people.

We go there at least once a week, good pub food and friendly conversation, they have a wide variety of options on the menu with affordable daily specials. We always sit at the bar and find the staff treats us well.

They advertise the best lobster rolls in town. Maybe so. The lobster roll had just enough toasted roll to hold the lobster, which itself was pretty much lobster with little filling. For the price this was a very good meal. No complaints.

JJ Boomers looks a bit strange from their outside, but dare to step in and you will find fun (with Keno and pool) in a lively bar area. Entertainment in the evenings. Step over to the dining room side and you feel like you walked into your grand-mother's kitchen - so homey and comfy (also with Keno screens in their... More

I absolutely love visiting J.J. Boomers Lounge area. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. I have ordered apps here plenty of times and the food is on the bland side. My husband and I ordered Potato skins and they were dry and didn't taste like much of anything. Same with the chicken quesadilla. The Nachos are not too bad... More

Just driving by you might not be impressed. A bit of a hole in the wall. And even upon entering you won't be impressed by the decor. But the food is fantastic! Wait staff are friendly but not intrusive. The place is old but clean. The chicken strips are probably the best I've had. This isn't overly imaginative food but... More

Went for a late lunch/early supper as was pleased that we picked this restaurant. Food ordered ranged from Chicken Finger Baskets to the Chicken Pot Pie, and all was delicious. It was reasonably priced, as the bill came to $100 for 5 meals with beers and split appetizer. Would return in the future if in the area.

Well boys and girls; You will remember the last time that we met here I was a bit disappointd at a Chicken Pot Pie that I sampled at a local diner here in Portland, ME. This time I was in Lowell, MA to watch my grand-daughter taking part in a dance competition at the Lowell Auditorium. Since there was a... More

Friendly and good service. Mostly comfort food. Baked Haddock was very good as was the Baked Macaroni and cheese. They have a small plate section on the menu and the portion size is more than enough. Large Sports Bar area.
