Small but varied menu of creative dishes. The evening we visited, they were offering such choices as mussels with lemongrass, ribeye steaks with chimichurri, and southern fried chicken with collard greens. All were prepared properly and were tasty. Excellent, fresh sourdough bread to start. Cocktails were fun and different, and priced reasonably for the area. Extensive beer menu as well.... More

Went to this place last Monday after dance class with friends on the recommendation of a colleague. I had the pulled pork, a friend has the meatball soup and the other one with burger. In general food was unremarkable, except for being too salty! The service is ok- perhaps an option if you can't make it to the South End... More

Visited for dinner with my daughters, 24 & 27, for dinner and enjoyed Green Street very much. Pub food upscaled but very nicely done. The wine and bourbon lists are decent - a very nice 2000 Tempranillo for $40! - and the menu varied but still no more than 6 entrees. A definite "go to" in Central. Enjoyed it very... More

We first walked by this restaurant, because we were told to look for a less inviting part of Green Street. It’s not on the beaten path, but not where construction or worse hazards loom. The interior is consistent with the exterior, that is until you start into dinner. The menu is hardly extensive, but that’s because they put real effort... More

Good menu and reasonable prices. Went late for a Saturday dinner. We were seated right away. It was a bit too loud though.

Perhaps It's unfair to compare the new with the old. But...this version has a pleasant but bland decor and the spicy carribean food has been replaced by less interesting fare.

Would have walked right by the restaurant if I didn't know it was there. Peeked inside and saw a nice crowd. We were seated at a nice private table. Wait staff was friendly. Got the appetizer special (tuna tartare) and the dinner special (wild boar) - both were fabulous!

Dined at Green Street on a Saturday night, the busy time for chefs. Got the chop salad, not the usual mix of ingredients and it didn't come together for me. My wife's lobster spring rolls tasted as though they were bought from a Chinese restaurant food supplier. My roast pork was underdone and a petite portion, my wife's beef shortrib... More

I stopped in here on a beeradvocate pub crawl. There are probably about 8 taps of beer and all were of high quality. It looks like a little hole in the wall from the outside but dont let that sway you. The bartender was very friendly and accomidating. There were multiple food specials on that night. I had a steak... More

I really like this place as it's tucked a bit out of the way and has a nice cozy vibe to it. I've only had dinner here once as it's a bit pricey but recently discovered the taco night and it's great. The place gets packed so go early if you can and sit in the bar area. They have... More
