We discovered this place as it was the nearest to our hotel ; it was so nice and welcoming that we came back twice for breakfast and once for brunch. I would recommend their pastry basket with their homemade jam.

Excellent food and coffee. Food was presented wonderfully and I love the coffee cups. Will definitely visit again and their sandwiches and pastry were amazing.

Ate here twice (mainly because the options are great in Harvard Square). Good selection of sandwiches and cakes (but high on butter). Best to sit upstairs as it's a little quieter. Staff are friendly and attentive. Toilets could do with a little attention (waste paper on floor - very busy when I visited).

We happened to discover Tatte Bakery & Cafe while roaming around in Harvard Square. What a great find! The food was exceptional. The quiche was one of the best we ever had. Prosciutto panini was exceptional. The coffee is great as expected. The venue is reminiscent of the original Legal Sea Foods encouraging conversations with locals. With half a dozen... More

Excellent sandwiches. Eggplant was the best. Service good. Salads very good. Brownies excellent. Crowded at lunch but line moves quickly

Tatte is a vivid place with excellent pastries and cakes. The place is full of Harvard students - the white ceiling and walls are making the hall wide and high. Great place - I'll come back soon!

Made a run out to Cambridge today to visit Harvard University and mull around Harvard Square for a bit. Some people on the street recommended Tatte to us, so we went in and tried it. Wow, it was really good and the portions were amazing. My wife and I shared the largest piece of blueberry / blackberry cheese cake that... More

After a ramble across Harvard, Tatte was a welcome find. The pastries are excellent but all the fare was wholesome and fresh on this cold winters day. The atmosphere was vibrant both front and visually back of house. We left refreshed to engage in the challenge of the excellent MIT/Harvard coop bookstore just down the road.

Pastries are to die for! Tatte decorates their desserts so beautifully you almost don't want to eat it. The place is crowded and a bit tight...we didn't find seating so we just walked outside and ate on the go. It worked out okay because Harvard is a beautiful place to roam around. Tatte is a bit pricey, but I think... More
