Went there for lunch, waited about 30 minutes. Had lobster, burger, oyster and deviled eggs. All tasted quite nice but had it's price.

The menu is not that complete and the best deal are the bar style items. My swordfish was on the small side but very good anyway. It was a bit noisy but reasonable for talking and so was the price.

We chose RHT for Mothers Day dinner because the menu truly had something for everyone, at reasonable prices. Our multi generational group had different feelings about the experience. Gramps loved the place! So did our teen. For most of us it was just ok...maybe an...More

Went with a group of friends. Curiously, the upstairs seating don't coordinate with the seating downstairs. They have a reasonable selection of wines and beers. Food was the usual bar food done well.

Russell House has VERY tasty salads, sandwiches, pizzas and burgers in a lively (sometimes rowdy) pub atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for brunch, lunch, dinner or a late night menu the waitstaff is friendly and the food is always very good. The clam pizza...More

We went here because we were showing Cambridge to an out-of-town guest. The experience was disappointing for several reasons. The room was packed with lots of younger people having drinks. As a result, the dining room was very noisy. Our server was pleasant and attentive,...More

Russell House is a predictably good restaurant in Harvard Square. The lunch menu is kind of limited. The vegetarians options are quite limited, but the food is good and the atmosphere lively. It's a great place to go at lunch as long as you don't...More

After a couple of days of snacky American food, the chance to eat a decent meal had us in the mood for quality. We were not disappointed. All four diners loved the starters and mains chosen, the wine selection was good and the ambience very...More

We were here for a team dinner, approx 20 people. We had our own room and set choices from the menu, and a series of excellent appetizers. I had the haddock for my main, which was awesome. The was also a chicken and a beef...More

Uh oh! I thought Cambridge was supposed to be a diverse city. I like traveling to Cambridge because it's a safe place, compared to my city. When I was there in early December Russell house tavern had a diverse staff. There's no black people working there now. Was that seasonal staff? Disappointing.

I'm guessing it just happened to be the case that night. Our waiter was from Brazil, and two of the young women who greeted customers were black. Cambridge is REALLY diverse.
Who's the day to day managing staff there at Russell House Tavern? They are so very nice. I'm just curious who they all are..
