You can tell this place is good by the long lines at lunchtime. Really fresh sandwiches and salads, yummy chicken pot pie, healthy delicious soups. Friendly service. We went back to get food to take on the train back to Chicago.

So YUM! We are foodies from St. Louis and loved this place. Both my kids got the chicken pot pie and it was creamy and delicious, but you better like rosemary as the gravy was infused with the herb. I got the veggie grilled cheese on rye and my husband got the cha cha sandwich and both were very satisfying.... More

We love the "foodies" that visit our restaurant and even more when they get what we are doing. We do try to have things for young and old so glad your children had some stuff to nibble on. Since I'm originally from Saint Louis I can only thank you for making the trip here and appreciating what we do as... More

Another winner thanks to reviews on Trip Advisor. It is a short walk from the Lincoln Presidential Library. Open Monday through Saturday 6:30 am to 3 pm, closed on Sunday. "Say Cheese" grilled cheese sandwich paired with chicken noodle soup and a chocolate chip cookie was a great choice. "Darrell's Deal" BLT on marble rye half sandwich and the "Bang... More

Just came from lunch at Cafe Moxo. The place is very busy for lunch, but the crew is very efficient, so the line moves fast. The food is fresh and tasty (although the soup that they sell as "gazpacho" has nothing to do with actual gazpacho). The service is quick and personable. Overall, the place has a good vibe.

We appreciate you pointing out how our staff really works at making your visit great and helping to create a good "vibe." As far as the gazpacho, we do have a different take on the classic but one certainly that is more refreshing during the heat of summer using some of our local produce. We hope we get the chance... Wanted a light lunch so stopped on for a salad. Tried the Waldorf salad which was nice, crisp, fresh and very tasty. The place had a positive vibe to it and was busy. They seem to do office catering too. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Springfield downtown. But then you won't be disappointed if you drove a... More

Love Cafe Moxo! This is our favorite spot to eat downtown Springfield. You have to try the Gobble Gobble sandwich- it's crazy good! And don't forget to try everyone's favorite.. The pot pie. Finish off with an awesome giant cookie- delish!

I have eaten here many times. Their chicken pot pie is delicious as well as many of their other choices. I also really like their cookies. You can't go wrong here.

Moxo is the best downtown place for breakfast and lunch. The food Is consistently delicious, the service is quick even when busy, and the employees are always courteous and friendly. Moxo has the best pot pies, hands down. The soup is so good, I've actually sent my daughter there to pick up some for me when I was sick. Moxo... More

Lunch places in Springfield can be, well, boring when you're trying to avoid the fast food choices. Sure, there are lots of sandwich places, but there's a sameness to them. Not this place! Salads are awesome and FRESH! Sandwiches are generous, and range from pretty straightforward choices to delightfullt different: BBQ mac n cheese melt, BLT with peanut butter (so... More

This eatery is a big favorite among locals so you will see families, couples, friends gathering...often casual but also business folks enjoying the food. And tourists too. It can get crowded but in a good way. Saturday mornings are very popular, especially during farmers market weekends (May-October). There is a short line for ordering - walk to the back and... More
