Waited for 45 minutes for the dinner to arrive, and it was not even a busy night. The waitress simply forgot about us. By the time the food arrived, we got two slices of sandwich bread each instead of the dinner rolls listed on the menu. We were told they were out. This waitress simply did not care!

If you can walk by the fresh baked goods at the front of the restaurant without your mouth drooling - you're lucky. The food is very good and portions are large. I've never had a bad meal at Wheatfields. You can take home your dessert if you're too full after your meal. Nice friendly place for families.

Love their Monday $3 dessert special! Take your lunch to go & it's a lot cheaper also! They have very tasty wraps & chicken!

Extensive menu, huge portions and abundance of pies and other deserts. Better for breakfast. Desserts are a little too sweet and they could use less sugar. Not a restaurant for someone watching their calorie intake. Signature dish is their potato casseroles which are tasty. The huge menu provides many options for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Great food. Egg stratta is a breakfast item that will last all day! Great sandwiches, wonderful soups and THE PASTRIES! Cinnamon rolls to die for, strawberry wedding cake, carrot cake, on and on.

The food portions are generous. Hugh menu. Unfortunately, the sweets are too sweet. I love fruit pies. But, the fillings are more like jams. They could cut the sugar in half and still be very sweet.

The food was decent but the service was slow, it seemed like they were short staffed the day I was here. I would have to go back again to find out if this was a one-time deal or a reoccurring problem.

Overall, I like the food a lot, especially the deserts (the orange rolls are fantastic). It's an expensive stop, though, and the place can be weirdly political in ways that I would think might turn away visitors, with mugs supporting a mayoral candidate, things like that.

This is one of the best bakeries in Omaha, huge selection of baked goods that all taste fabulous. Good on menu is good to I had the quiche and there was plenty of it.It's a little pricey but worth it.

Deserts are good, food is ok, and service up and down. The items from the bakery are good. I never sit down for food because it is overpriced and the service is up and down. I do stop in and grab items from the bakery.
