Those of you who never visited this place will miss one of the most important places in Omaha. The decor, the food, especially the sukiyaki was the best. The deluxe started with ribs, chicken skewers, and egg rolls. Then came soup, then salad, then fried tempura. Last prime rib slices with noodles and vegetables (sukiyaki) Never tried anything else but the... More

and now they're closed. Omaha has lost a landmark. I guess the Mai Tai will stay open (down stairs). We'll have to go there and see if they still have those eggrolls - like no other.

As a server myself i tend to be very forgiving of short comings, but oh boy, this really was offensive. First off, our server was rude and acted as if we kicked her puppy, no smile, no refills, no consideration. I had the shrimp Cantonese and it was the worst meal i have ever had, she never came back to... More

I echo the comments of the last reviewer. The tempura was served soggy, dripping in grease-it was one big mess. The other selections had their flaws as well. Based on the temperature of the food it was clear the other entrees were sitting around a while before being served. We expressed our dissatisfaction but it was obvious nothing was going... More

My experience is very similar to a previous reviewer. We took some friends to Mt. Fuji to treat them to a nice dinner several months ago. The first thing that struck us as odd was the parking lot was packed, but the restaurant was practically empty. We figured that all the customers were down below in the bar. Our dinner... More

Our family loves Mt. Fuji. Everything about it is great! Friendly staff and awesome food. We have 3 kids, but they accommodated to our needs. It took us hour total to be there. If you are not in a hurry, I recommend Mt. Fuji.

My family and I were so excited to come to this restaurant for the first time. I had see the inside online and it has the most beautiful decorations and theme to it I ahve ever seen. However, the service was a completely different story. We made our reservation two weeks in advance for a party of 10 to 15... More

Upon entering, a beautiful woman dressed in a native outfit, named Jackie, greets you at the door....The Koi fish spashing in the pond and a full wall picture of Mt Fuji in the distance transports you directly to Japan....The tea-rooms are as intimate as you want them to be or you can share rooms and make new friends...The food is... Jan-29-10 My hubbie and I like to try new restaurants. Last Friday we stepped in at 6:00 pm, there was no hostess, so we sat on a table. Two minutes later a lady from the kitchen comes in an says: “on weekends we only go by reservation, so be prepare to wait 1.5 hrs, for your food”. The place wasn’t... More
