A wonderful small restaurant near in downtown Omaha, Ne. Server and food outstanding. For soup course had Lobster Bisque. Salad course the Kale & Artisan greens. Main course Grilled rib eye, the portion was very large, meat and cooking of rib eye fabulous. The salmon with bagel pudding great, anyone who likes salmon will love this dish. The service is... Omaha has a wonderful reputation as a great "eating out" city; and it's places like the Flatiron that make that possible. Food and service are exemplary, it's difficult to find any other place in Omaha that can surpass the Flatiron. And while it can be pricey for special occasion dining, there are menu options that make it possible to eat... More

This location is quaint. Lots of character. Allegedly an old hide out for Chicago Mafia who found themselves in Omaha. The service was great, which was no small feet as we were a table of 13. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was such a treat. My favorite experience in Omaha. It is a little pricey, but worth it if... More

We ate at Flatiron Cafe back in May and knew we wanted to eat there again during this trip. There is always a chance that a return trip might not live up to the expectations, but this was not the case. We again had an amazing meal and service. My husband went with the ribeye, I had the sea bass,... More

Flatiron Cafe is truly a gem in downtown Omaha. It's a nice, intimate setting with AMAZING food. The service is nothing but exceptional as well. I highly recommend, as this is definitely on my list of top restaurants in Omaha. This would be a wonderful place to celebrate an anniversary or anything super special. I'd also recommend making reservations, especially... More

Picked the Flatiron as the place to celebrate our completing the National Triathlon Championships - perfect choice. The food was delicious and inventive. The wait staff extremely attentive. The wine list (and advice from the sommelier) was spot on. The desserts, even after an enormous meal, were worth savoring. We could not have asked for a better place for the... More

Appetizers (brussel sprouts and grilled watermelon), off the chart great. Entrees (tenderloin and lobster tail) perfect. Served in perfect sequence. Wines were great. Service was impeccable (thanks, Marie!)--and everyone is warm and friendly. Atmosphere is upscale but casual--the Flatiron has a very comfortable feel. We don't get here nearly often enough....tremendous place!

Great manager, kitchen and support staff! Ann Marie was a perfect waitress! Appetizer sampler plate was spot on. Kale salad and lobster bisque were great. Loved our Darioush wine bottles! Lobster with risotto was perfect. Veal chop was also done to perfection. Desert sampler and coffees were a great ending.

Service was impeccable, food was amazing...what more can I say?! It is on the pricier end but definitely worth a splurge. Wonderful ambience in a gorgeous setting.

We arrived around 8:00pm on a Friday night to Flatiron Cafe. We felt a little underdressed (jeans) with the white linen table cloths and flickering table lights, but the staff made us feel welcome. We ordered the potato encrusted sea scallops as a starter. They were melt in your mouth good. We wished there was 10 on the plate instead... More
