Not truly authentic Mexican food but still good. Portion size is very good with (usually) enough to take home and enjoy later! Nice atmosphere with friendly and efficient wait staff.

For the true flavor of authentic Mexican dishes, this is a must. The wait staff ii attentive. I felt we were being rushed to make up our minds from their extensive menu. The dishes are well prepared from recipes passed down from the owners father or grandfather.

Margaritas which are so good are half price before 6PM. Mango is my favorite. You get chips and salsa free and the food is plentiful and delicious. Normally I am there for dinner but they also have great lunch specials. Free parking area and outside eating area when weather permits.

Service is good and people are friendly, but the food wasn't what it used to be. none of what we had was really good, except maybe the chicken taco. It was just so-so. It was food, but nothing really worth going out for. There are better places in omaha. Probably ok for drinks and sit outside in the patio area.

Last couple of times I visited this restaurant I was very disappointed! I used to love their food, they have cut down on portion size and quality. The food tastes like it's been frozen for a while, it does not taste fresh and homemade like it used to. Now I will have to find a good Mexican restaurant again.

Great Mexican food! Service is supper. Fun atomsphere, roving mariachi bank to serenade you. The Margritas are the bomb! Try the large one, two strews like drinking out of a large fish bowl. You need two hands to hold it steady

This was our 2nd time visiting El Aguila. Was at lunch time approximately 12:30 PM and place was empty when we got there. I got daily special and compared to other Mexican restaurant's in Omaha area was lot less food, cost more and hardly had any flavor and wasn't best what was there. Wife's wasn't too bad after received food... More

El Aguila is close to where I live and it is a favorite of my Red Hat friends. Their margaritas are superb as is the food. With fresh made salsa and chips you have to be careful to leave room for the main course. One of my favorites are the spinach enchiladas. Make it a "must visit" when in Omaha.... More

My family had a wedding rehearsal dinner at El Aguila and had a nice meal. The chips and salsa were quite good. You get both corn and flour chips to dip into a somewhat spicey salsa. I then had the steak fajitas for dinner and I have never had so much steak on a platter for fajitas anywhere. The steak... More
