Good Italian eats in an older neighborhood. The food is good, and service is great. Try the Biscotti they sell at the counter in front. Very tasty for snacking later with a cup of coffee.

I ate here with friends and while we liked the food (especially the delicious sausage tortellini) the waitress committed the cardinal sin of making a mistake and blaming the customer. My friend ordered the fried fish. The waitress said, "the fish" in confirmation. They brought out fish parmesan, not fried fish. When the mistake was pointed out and the correct... More

Enjoyed Malara's with our Tastemasters group tonight. Service is homey and very prompt, with really decent Italian goodies. Pasta is homemade, the sauce is a rich and red (other choices available), with excellent sausage and meatballs. Everyone seemed to enjoy their picks. Lots of food. My only complaint is the purity of pasta, red sauce, and meat. I enjoy the... More

Brought the kids for a dinner out! This is a family friendly place with food for the whole family! Pasta was fresh and delicious . Salad was provided with the meal.

After at least 4 years, my daughters and I went back to Malara's for a Saturday evening dinner. We were greeted and seated immediately, and service was attentive and timely. We shared a fried eggplant appetizer...so crisp and hot, with their great marinara on the side. The salad and rolls were good and dependable. And our chosen entrees....homemade spaghetti with... Very typical Italian American family-run restaurant in an old neighborhood. The decor is very kitschy, but pleasant and fun. The menu has many traditional Italian American favorites including handmade pasta. Most entrées come in full and half portion sizes which makes it very affordable. Terrific place for the family.

This place has been around for ever. It is always a great meal. Not on the main drag and it would be easy to miss in the residential setting. But worth the hunt.

Sweet red sauce and had made pasta choices! Yummmmmm. Great service and a fun family feel. Only recommendation would be better house wine option.

Nothing says class like Carlo Rossi by the glass. Service was that of a poorly run diner *. Wine was served in glasses that were far too small for the portion. Food was decent ***

Family run Italian restaurant, that truly cares about customers. Food is amazing, and huge portions. They offer 1/2 portions which is still alot. Homemade ravioli, pasta, and sauce. The menu choices are plentiful and even the most picky eater will fall in love with their food.
