I have been coming here for quite some time - now that I live out of town I try to make it back as often as I can. I really enjoy the Chimichangas, and never feel hungry afterwards. I am always amazed that the owner remembers who I am, even when I'm not there for months at a time. It... More

We did fajitas on our road trip. Food was teriffic. We were the first people in on a Sunday. Is a very Latino part of town. Never got crowded. Service was excellent. Hot sauce was kinda mild, but their regular salsa was pretty warm anyway and lots of ingredients, very tasty. Bought it on a group on and would definitely... More

Don't expect to have a quick meal. Service is very slow. Salsas are good chips are fair. Food was very pricey for what you get. Prices on menu don't agree with what you are charged. 3 of us said no beans and we were charged $1 each to take beans off. Margarita very watered down. Drink prices also more than... More

When we came to eat, we were the only people in the entire restaurant aside from two elderly women who left shortly after we arrived. Still, the service was VERY slow and was a bit of work for us to even get our order taken. We came in with the $40 for $20 Groupon. I hesitate to complain because it... More

Service was courteous, but slow. Thought the authentic Mexican food was a little bland for our tastes. Best part was the unique Mexican pottery store that is next door.

My family and I have been coming here since the early 1990s and it is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Omaha. As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a friendly, neighborhood restaurant with great owners and staff. Yes, the decor is a little worn around the edges but the food is wonderful and plentiful. Personal favorites are the carnitas and... More

My family and I decided to try this place because of some of the reviews we read and what a mistake. I have to admit that the food and chips & salsa were pretty good but they were the only good things about this place. The service was horribly slow, the place was a dirty, plus all our sodas were... We come back to visit Omaha once a year or so, and the freshly prepared food, and staff is always a welcome return. Quaint, and not fancy, and not a sports bar and grill hangout...but good food and family atmosphere.
