Sorry SLJ... Pitch was our first of three dinner dates in Omaha and our favorite (all were great really). Emily did a great job with everything! We started out by sharing an Arugula salad - amazing and plenty there for two. The shrimp scampi pizza and burger with gorgonzola and truffle fries were delicious - I was starving, but, it... More

I went to Pitch because I had heard its coal-fired pizza was exceptional. It was. So were the roasted brussels sprouts - also recommended to me. Pitch did not overcook its pizza as some "fired" restaurants do. It was crisp but not charcoaled. Very nice! More importantly, they offered standard flavors of pizza but also innovative ones like fig/goat cheese/basil.... More

Joelle at the bar really does make provide a fun dining experience - she assisted us with a couple of long island iced teas while my date and I went recently to Pitch. We also enjoyed the Thai Pizza, Joelle telling us they recently made a change in eliminating the cilantro which worked great since I love cilantro but my... More

The pizza is as good and exciting as you may hope for (don't forget to try some of the more, out-there specials - they are usually great) However, the real trick are all the non-pizza items on the menu. They aren't just there to satisfy the one person in a group who somehow doesn't care for pizza. No, these are... More

Our group came here for lunch and we chose the Bianco Verde Pizza and the Basil Pesto Chicken Pie. Both pizzas were a great choice. The Basil Pesto Chicken has basil pesto, fresh mozzarella, roasted chicken and tomato, and balsamic reduction, all of which creates an explosion of flavor in your mouth. This pizza was very delectable and is my... More

I don't like polenta. Have tried it in three continents and never been a fan. Until that is, until I was asked to visit Omaha's only coal fired pizza restaurant by a close friend. A legacy of making great pizza's and flatbreads is what the Pitch is known for but I was told the Chef & his specials are a... More

Wife and I went their for dinner. I ordered the shrimp scampi and my wife ordered a pizza. My scampi came out, however my wifes pizza did not come out for another 10 minutes. I was already done eating by then. Waitress said that pizza takes longer to cook that is why our food did not come out at same... More

What a great Dundee restaurant, whether for a dinner out with friends, a casual business meal, or a romantic outing. The menu is huge and everything we tried was great. We ordered two starters, a salad, two pizzas, a couple beers, a bottle + two glasses of wine (for a party of four) and the bill was WELL under $200... More

Cienna was our waitress. She was pretty awesome. Huge number of selections and she patiently explained all of them. She put us on the right food with the right wine and made our night a success. I would definitely come back...but me personally, I will verify that Cienna can be my server. Great night out!

My wife and I showed up for a very early dinner after and were treated to a fantastic dining experience. Dean walked us through some fantastic knowledge of wines and our waiter Dan was great fun to chat with throughout our meal. Best calamari in Omaha, and fantastic pizzas. The seasonal dessert, chocolate bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream... More
