The wait staff here is very professional and friendly. They know their food, and give great recommendations. The food is excellent ( Crawfish tails for an appetizer, shrimp etouffee main course), but the service is the best in Omaha, hands down.

Four of us dropped in for some appetizers and drinks, just bouncing around downtown one night. There was a live band upstairs that did great covers of Led Zeppelin and downstairs we had an excellent bartender. Stop by, order a bunch of drinks, a bunch of appetizers and sit back to enjoy the music. Great atmosphere, great service and FANTASTIC... More

Had lunch here with a colleague. The food and service were excellent. They serve a number of "Louisiana"-centric dishes. Several tap beers, and bottled, including Abita Brewery out of Louisiana. However, the place is very run down and not very clean. They have some outdoor seating in warm months, right on the street.

In Omaha for the night, eagerly anticipated some NOLA food. Unfortunately, they didn't get their delivery of crawfish tails, so we missed out on some etouffee. Instead, DH and I shared a spicy bowl of jambalaya, then some Cajun calamari and onion rings. Jordan at the bar was great! Tap was out of Abita Amber, but decent selection of others... More

A must if you are in Omaha for the CWS, a concert, or just need a night out. Jazz has great food, great music, and an ambience that is second only to New Orleans itself. It's Mardi Gras everyday at Jazz. The Voodoo crawfish tails are a wonderful appetizer if you like something with a kick. The menu is packed... More

Don't go here. This was one of our most favorite Omaha restaurants for very good food, good drinks and fun. The staff was always very attentive, but all that has changed. There has been a change in management that has allowed this restaurant to dramatically and quickly slide downhill. We have gone twice in the last 3 months and have... More

I frequently seek New Orleans, Cajun and or Creole cuisine when I travel and my experience with some of the restaurants in the sky miles dinning network has really been hit or miss. I was very pleasantly surprised on a business trip to Omaha last week. I visited the Jazz-A Louisiana Kitchen in downtown Omaha and placed a carry out... More

This is a fun place to eat for a chain. The food is spicy and good quality. The desserts with Chantily Cream are decadent.
