Wanted to try some local flavor and this place got great reviews. Breakfast was good but nothing fantastic. Blueberry pancakes were a little chewy and the biscuits were super dense. It was a bit pricey for the food and service we received.

Nice little place, off the beaten path. Recommended by a local - doesn't seem to be on the tourist radar. Food was good, plentiful, and reasonably priced. Bonus for having good hot tea! Must have a Hawaiian influence, judging by some of the breakfast options.
We tried a more popular place for breakfast in the center of town but decided to forego the 35 minute wait and our son(a local) took us to Jackie' s Place. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options with real grilled home...More
We stopped at Jackie's Place for a late lunch when we arrived in Anchorage, and again for breakfast the next morning. Excellent meals, cozy atmosphere, Janice and her staff were very friendly and attentive... would definitely recommend a stop while in Anchorage.
Very good breakfast and not to noise. Great selection of omelets. Thick sliced bacon. They also have a large slection of sausages. They offer a wide selection of teas. Even when almost full the sound level is acceptable. Great friendly service. Free WIFI.
If you have a favorite greasy spoon in your town you might consider Jackies in our town. Waitresses still call you hon, don't have to worry about getting the table cloth dirty and the eggs and bacon exude what you might expect.
