Even the kids got to enjoy a prix fix 4 course meal for a measly $9 eu. For a white tablecloth restaurant in an intimate setting we thought this was a wonderful value. Lunch prix fix ~ $18 eu/pp

Not sure how many times either ourselves or our guests have eaten here (at least 6/7 times a year for the last decade) but it never disappoints. Fantastic local cuisine and friendly service combines for a wonderful experience - a true taste of Normandy!

There aren't many options for dinner in late November, so we were happy to find the restaurant of John Steele open. The dining room is very cozy and the staff make you feel welcome. There are several prix fixe menu options for every budget, any many items are sourced locally. We also enjoyed a house-made digestif of local apple brandy.

Excellent, affordable French Restaurant. We had options but chose to go back each night, this says it all. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and delicious wine and food.

We went here when our usual restaurant in the vicinity was closed. The restaurant is modern cuisine, so don't expect a big side of frites with your main course. However the food was absolutely delicious served by friendly bilingual staff, and the house red was totally acceptable.

Tucked away just around a corner from historic Saint-Mere-Eglise center is a wonderful, traditional French restaurant. It is an old stone building from another era, and stepping inside you will feel like you have traveled back in time. The hostess is charming as she greets you in French and leads you to the dinning room. It is small by American... More

Wow what a great choice for our last night in France. Last year we stayed in St Mere Eglise and could not get into this restaurant, now we know why. The welcome is great and both the food and wine are exquisite. I had the rack of lamb, my wife had veal and our daughter Turkey as main courses all... More
