First off, the location listed here is wrong. As of late 2016 the Everest Kitchen has moved from Bothell Way just north of 145th, and is now in the Town Center Mall in Lake Forest Park, Second, the food quality was somewhere between mediocre and awful. Overcooked (dried out) rice, curries that were unappealing in terms of flavor and texture,... More

For a new meal experience we tried the Everest Kitchen lunch buffet and although the food was good I was surprised by the lack of variety. I expected a few more choices particularly vegetarian. That said, the food was tasty enough that I would definitely go back.

First, the positive: you get a nice-sized glass of water with your buffet and they keep it filled. The naan was good, but unfortunately, everything else fell short. There were very few meat dishes, and they had more potatoes or carrots than meat. The flavor was ho-hum. The tandoori chicken was mostly unrecognizable chopped bits of chicken instead of whole... I like indian food but not something I crave or seek out very often. But this is some of the best I've had. Flavorful, spicey but not painfully so. Nice peaceful decor and very pleasant staff

We love this place! THey have a great avriety of food, from indian favorites to more unique, as well as nepali and tibetian offerings. The staff have always been friendly (we've been three times thus far), always chatting with my little one. We plan to come back here often, it's nice having an indian restaurant in the town center!

If you're interested in trying different Indian and Tibetan Fare from different regions this is a great place to visit. It has a good selection of fare, reasonable prices, and very good service. There's convenient parking and with coupons, you can get even more value.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food. It was positively quirky being served on tray similar, it was said, to how trekkers have their meals. Our server was polite but we seemed not to communicate to well, although I do not think it was language. We would eat here again if we were in the area.

The Everest Kitchen opened recently at 3rd place books in Lake Forest Park without much fanfare. We decided to give it a try and we're pleasantly surprised. The menu is fairly limited so there is probably less than 10 entries to choose from. Our selections were very good however the food may be a little heavy on the sauce for... More

We eat Indian food pretty often and obviously enjoy it. We were on vacation and tried the Everest Kitchen. The food was pretty mediocre and the service was not great. The guy who took our order wasn't friendly or helpful. We wanted some saag and dal as side dishes but they would not accommodate us....only full orders. Indian bread is... More

We've tried several dishes - lamb curry, vindaloo, etc., all good. Our favorite is the saag, a spinach-based dish. Very flavorful. Service is friendly and efficient. Nice to have another option in LFP.
