Really enjoyed coming here for coffee and croissants; the coffee is smooth, not overly bitter or burnt tasting as is often the case from other roasters. The service was friendly and welcoming on our first visit, without long lines, and the order was completed exactly as requested. Hot chocolate also received high praise from our little guest. Pastries were very... More

We'd been hearing lots of good things about Lighthouse so decided to go check the place out on a Sunday morning. This coffee roaster is off the beaten track at 43rd Street and Phinney Avenue in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Once we spotted Lighthouse -- the customer line was out the door -- it took us another 10 minutes to find... More

After our trip to Gas Works Park, we stopped by to get an Americano and a Chai Latte. They were kind and quick with their service. I didn't spot Dave Mathews, but that may have been too much to hope for.

Yeah, a really great latte, but no vibe from the staff. Perhaps it was one of those days... The venue itself is very nice.

I don't know if it was the roast, the pull, or just the specialty coffee famine I've been in recently, but sipping a single shot of espresso was so good in that moment, I used cussin' words in my excitement. Of all the coffee places I frequented on my Seattle trip, this was by far the best. I had a... More

I always try to go to Lighthouse Coffee anytime I am in Seattle. The coffee is great and they roast it in the back of the shop. I usually buy several pounds to take home and to use as gifts.

Our B&B in Fremont was a couple blocks from this coffee shop and decided to give it a try. They roast their own coffee here. We just ordered regular brewed coffee and it was excellent, we didn't get a chance to try the pastries though. Would most definitely recommended it to everyone.

Wonderful atmosphere with a real working roaster right in the cafe. Hands down the best coffee in Seattle. Staff is friendly and efficient. Outside curved stone bench is the perfect spot to enjoy your coffee on a nice morning.

I went here in search of great coffee and I found it. It was my first time in Seattle and being the coffee capital of the world, I wanted to get a true experience ( not just another sbx, which I do like but wanted something more unique ). I also went here in search of a "pee-pee latte" which... More

We traveled the west coast and this was our best expresso in a week. The neighborhood is worth the trip as well. We wished we had more time to explore it.
