We went out of our way to eat here, recommended to us. It was worth every bite, what a sandwich. Best pulled pork I ever ate. You can get spice hot, medium Hot, or mild. It's also gluten free if you skip the bun. Near the court house in Seattle.

I love the BBQ here. I used to come here a lot when I worked downtown. I now work in the U District. However, yesterday, I had the chance to visit Hole in the Wall for lunch and enjoyed every bite. The brisket is great - the taste, the texture, the smoke, all of it.

I moved to Seattle from the southeast and was at first disheartened when I couldn't find a decent BBQ place. I came across Hole in the Wall one day after my office moved to Smith Tower. Evidently the guys are from Austin and have been in business since 1989 - and it shows. The service is super friendly, prices are... More

Given the quality of brisket beef has gone down, the price has gone up, the combination equates to poor. Food is average price is high. After all these years of patronage I'll probably call it quits for that place.

I was craving some BBQ while in Seattle. Low and behold I find out there's a place within walking distance of where I'm staying. No need to think, off I went. It's a small place for sure but I went after lunch hours and had no problem getting a seat. I went with the brisket sandwich. It was delicious. Very... More

I've been eating here for the last 20 years and love it. Thursday they have Bbq pork ribs which melt off the bone. If it's a slow day you might get some on Friday but you can't count on it. The also have good coleslaw and beans. Friendly but seating is along the outer wall. No alcohol, but Nantucket nectar... More

When I come to Seattle for business a lunch stop at Hole in the Wall is a must do on the restaurant visit list. This is just a “hole it the wall” so to speak so don’t expect fine dining. They are only open 11 – 2:30pm which is a real shame BUT probably good for me otherwise I would... More

... but I have not come across it (and I look often). This place lives up to its name (Hole in the Wall), is not much to look at either outside or inside and has a limited menu, but the brisket, potato salad and baked beans are some of the best I have had, anywhere. (I am sure the pulled... More

Hole-in-the-Wall Bar-b-q This place is really just a hole-in-the -wall. The trusty GPS was able to locate it for us. We were greeted by the original owner's daughter in law. She is very personable. Seating is on bar stools around the front and sides of the restaurant. We all had the pulled pork sandwich, which cost $7.50. The bar-b-q is... More

The Hole in the Wall Barbecue is only 1 block from the Courtyard Downtown Seattle/Pioneer Square. The walk is easy. You get alot of food for your money. I had the pulled pork sandwich. There was about half pound of meat on this sandwich. The cost for this sandwich was $7.50 plus tax and it was well worth it. It's... More
