Picture this...you sit on the deck watching the sailboats and paddleboarders cruise by and the sun is shining bright, when the server brings the most delicious Caesar salad ever. Maybe it's a Bucket of Clams and Beer day or maybe it's a Seafood and Marguerita day. No matter what, you will feel so happy to be alive when you're here.... More

We were very disappointed in the limited menu. We were all set for seafood and this place used to be noted for it. Dungeness crab is in season and it was no where to be found. The service was very good and we had to have her go to the kitchen to see if they would make me a Crab... More

Ray's Boathouse is a real Seattle icon, and is a lot more open than before the renovations a decade ago (if it's been that long since you last were here). A lovely special occasion restaurant, with prices to match. The service is quite nice, and the food quality excellent. However there were a few small items that one would care... More

Happy hour at Ray's. Decent HH menu-prawns, Caesar salad, calamari, etc.-$5 house wines. We had the prawns (average) and 2 orders of Manila clams in a white wine sauce (we don't like to share clams). Every single clam of my dish had grit, but the other dish was fine. The white wine sauce was really good, however. The plate of... More

Great location...Very Good Service....very good food...but not a good value because of the small serving size of very expensive entrees. My Sister-in-law who is on budget but enjoys splurging once in a while ordered a scallop entree for $39.00. While very good the serving sized was three (3) each scallops. Needless to say we were disappointed. I would only go... More

My wife booked Ray's Cafe through Open Table for a family gathering in November. We were so pleased we booked (3 WEEKS EARLY) a table for 9 on Christmas Day for Ray's Special Holiday (All You Can Eat) Brunch. Ray's Cafe again exceeded our expectations with the freshest seafood including oysters on the 1/2 shell, shrimp and crab legs, the... More

Salad was good, clams were sandy, tuna needed a steak knife to cut thru gristle. 3 bloody Mary's, cup is chowder, 1/2 salad, 2 appetizers all for $85 plus tip. But the view is nice.

We always go to dinner at Ray's on Christmas Eve - a bit of a tradition for us. Not anymore! Apparently the bartender thinks putting alcohol in the $11 drinks isn't something he or she wants to do. Not only couldn't I taste the bourbon in the Bourbon Buck, my wife couldn't detect any alcohol in her Grey Goose and... More

Dinner at Ray’s is really all about that outstanding view. You can’t beat sitting outside on the deck, gazing out on the Puget Sound in all its Olympic Mountain, sailboat and sunset glory. This dockside restaurant & cafe serves delicious Pacific NW seafood and drinks. It has an amazing happy hour from 4-6 daily. A must-see in Seattle!
