It has been a little while since the former Waterfront Grill was re-christened as "Aqua by El Gaucho" (not clear to me why the new name needs a possessive phrase on the end). Family visiting from out-of-town wanted to go here, and I enjoyed learning what the place has become. Everything has been contracted: dress is now Very (very) Casual,... More

First time visit this restaurant by google map in downtown Seattle on Dec.28, 2016. Needed to have dinner with my best friend & her family from Australia. Located only 10 mins walk from Hyatt House hotel in downtown, this fancy restaurant has great seafood, comfortable setting, nice Harbour view & live piano music for everyone to enjoy! Good service, Kids... More

I made this reservation since we had been there the year before for my husbands birthday. I was not sure how dinner was going to be since the person that took our reservations this time was not very friendly on the phone and seemed more annoyed than anything, even when she called to confirm our reservation. I almost switch to... More

Everything here was fantastic! We had a large party with a variety of appetizers, meals, and desserts and we have no complaints!!! Honorable mentions: pancetta wrapped prawns, crab cakes, Seafood platter (can't remember the full name), Frenched rib steak, NY strip, New Zealand Rack of Lamb, Emerald City Volcano, Bailey's bread pudding, dry lavender soda...So amazing!

This restaurant is situated on Pier 70 along Alaskan Way, which probably accounts at least in part for the fact that it is quite expensive. However, we have visited each time we have been in Seattle over the years and have always found the food to be very good - tasty and well presented - and the service friendly and... More

Solid wine list & som. Staff polite, effective without hovering. 100% accurate. A touch spendy, and worth it.

Aqua is located right on a pier looking out onto the water. The view is great to eat dinner to. And, the food is spectacular. The fish tastes fresh, and the dishes are very well presented. Highly recommend Aqua for a nice dinner.
