The food represents authentic Afghan fare with its own unique blend of spices; extremely tasty and friendly staff!

Visited Kabul Afghan Restaurant in the Wallingford neighborhood for the 2nd time and was as delighted as the first time several years ago. Warm atmosphere, wonderful selection of dishes including vegetarian- all with exotic Afghan spices(not hot spicy but very subtle and unique)-a nice change from the ever present Indian spices. This local place has the warmth and hospitality you... More

We took a friend who had never had Afghani food. Between the 3 of us we had the eggplant, both vegetarian and with meat, and the Kabul pulau, which I can never resist. I had the cardamom tea. Everything was delicious as usual. Appreciated that the restaurant put sugar cubes on the side of the otherwise unsweetened tea so that... More

My husband sat in a wheelchair with a broken left leg and a broken right arm after a bicycle accident by the Burke Gilmore Trail. When I suggested getting dinner to go from a restaurant nearby, he perked up and immediately said, "Kabul." This Afghan restaurant is a consistent winner in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood, where we stay for a period... More

Very friendly service, lovely food, nicely prepared and beautiful to look at. The eggplant was perfect. The rice not so much. Also, a little over the top price-wise. But. Firni, on the dessert menu, a creamy pudding flavored with cardamom, is NOT to be missed. The chocolate mousse is also top notch.

The food here is amazing. Highly recommend-chicken, lamb, the special rice and side of eggplant. Also the cardamom black tea is very good. Everyone I have brought here or recommended it to has loved it as well.

Had the chicken kabob with rice and it was superb! Chicken was expertly seasoned, moist and tender. Their baklava has some different spices from traditional but I personally found the change refreshing. Biggest challenge with eating here was finding parking since most nearby parking requires a special permit but the food is totally worth it.

I have been here twice now and have recommended it to many others. The food is really good. I love the chicken, eggplant and rice. The cardamom black tea is great. The wine was also good as well as the dessert. Service was quick and attentive.

The atmosphere in the Kabul Restaurant was calm and serene with photos of famous sites in Afghanistan and well placed seating areas. We began our meal with a lovely Washington Pino Grigio. We enjoyed bolani, a turnover made from potatoes and scallions with yogurt dip. The Ash soup had unique spices and interesting tastes of garbanzo and kidney beans. We... More

I went to Kabul while in Seattle visiting my son. We picked it because of our experience with Panjshir in Falls Church, VA. Kabul did not measure up. I order a fish dish that was truly horrid. I suppose I should have stuck with lamb but the fish was on the menu. The food was so spicy that it hurt... More
