This may be a fine sushi place, based on the reviews, but not good for a sit down asian meal. Our tempura appetizer was coated in a heavy sticky batter, barely eatable. The main dish of Salmon and vegetables was totally inedible. The tea was good, the device was adequate. Cannot say much more. I would not go back.....

Three of us for an early dinner. It was virtually empty when we went in so we were seated immediately and our orders came out quickly as well. I had a Sashimi dinner as I usually do in Sushi places. There were 6 or 7 different varieties of fish and all were pretty good. The others had 3 different specialty... More

Jae's is a small restaurant without pretension situated in Madison Valley. We go to lunch at Jae's on a whim probably two to three times every month. The reason? Simply outstanding sushi.Yesterday we ordered our favorite dish, then Jae took over. We had albacore that was from the gods, next we had a surprise clam presentation that was sensational, followed... I love this place. The chefs create beautiful artwork that is delicious. It is very affordable and excellent. The menu has something for everyone. Sushi enthusiasts will love the fresh, well-made rolls. While those wanting a hot meal will find a wide variety of fine choices. We enjoy going to Saturday lunch when it isn't as crowded, but It is... More

We had eight people for dinner & ordered takeaway from here. The food was good & value for money. It was a short walk from the property we were staying in

They offer a wide variety of cuisines to choose from. I had Pad Thai the other night. Their portions are very large. The outdoor seating space was very nice and large.

I moved to the neighborhood about six months ago and quickly found Jae's. I have to admit I've become a sporadic regular at the sushi bar. I travel a lot for work but always make sure to visit when I'm back in town. Most nights you will find Jae deftly slicing nigiri, rolling maki, and chatting with the customers. I... More

I've been coming here since it was Chinoise. There have been some changes in the menu since it changed over to Jae's but one thing that has remained consistent is the level of service. It's always been good; wait staff has always been genuinely attentive, not the fake-y "it's just my job to do so" kind of attentiveness. Quality of... More

We are visting in Seattle from Switzerland where sushi is so boring and uses too much rice trying to make it bigger. This place rocks. We ordered $68 worth to go and everything was fantastic. The tuna melted in your mouth and the spicey tuna with the crab on top and crispy was too die for. Wish we lived here... More

We went to happy hour this evening. Happy hour from 5-7, great options $3-6 each for a large amount of sushi. We really like this place! Jae is the sushi chef and he is very friendly and personable.
