I've had good coffee and great service every time I go here, but I find the pastries are inconsistent at best. The selection is odd, and the quality varies pretty widely. Still, stop in for coffee or maybe a cheese bread.

We really enjoyed the wonderful staff and atmosphere in the neighborhood cafe, and the wonderful Split Pea Soup, some of the best we have ever had. Highly recommended, take home a loaf of real true german bread.

They brew with True North, have cold brew on tap, and are a delicious German-style bakery. Get yourself in there for a cappuccino and a blechkuchen -- the delicious berry cake! It can be a little toasty in here, as they bake on site, so if you skew warm, dress light. =)

I have had the pleasure of dining here and now recently worked with them on a weekend of special orders. AMAZING! Great communication, very accommodating and excellent products. I cannot recommend this establishment enough!

Stopped into Kaffeeklatsch to check out their German inspired pastries and tried the Zitronenkuchen which is a German Lemon Cake which I have ha many times in German. Very good with a strong, slightly tart lemon flavor. Also had a tea which was a quality tea, not the usual Stash tea that so many serve. Friendly service but the interior... More

Visited this adorable little coffee shop three times over a weekend visit to Seattle. Amazing crafted coffee and a huge selection of pastries, fresh breads and soups. The staff is courteous and friendly. I would recommend this place to anybody wanting good service, tasty food and amazing coffee! Pros: Tasty coffee! Great food! Friendly service! Cons: None!

My wife and I decided to drive over from Bellevue due to the prior reviews. Since my wife is from Munich we had a certain experience in mind. It started out poor due to an inattentive and unhelpful person behind the counter. They were indifferent that we were there. They couldn't tell us when the Stollen was made and they... More

Good coffee, interesting-looking pastries and breads, pleasant service. Small, cozy place right on Lake City Way in north Seattle. Feels like what you'd expect a German coffee house to be. Lots of free parking if you come in the back door.

My husband took me to this little bakery that was recommended by a friend of his. I loved the pastries and the rolls, pretzels and breads. The pretzel dog looked delicious, have to try it next time. I had what they called "Blechkuchen", rhubarb and strawberries with a Streusel topping, they served it with whipped cream. My husband loved the... More

Adorned with local art and filled with friendly baristas, Kaffeeklatsch has quickly become my new favorite coffeehouse in Seattle. In addition the the regular coffee options, from local roaster True North Coffee, the small German bakery also offers a few varieties of Mighty Leaf tea, with teapot provided. While the coffee is decent, I would come back for the food... More
