This place is growing on me. located in a cornerstone neighborhood in seattle, it captures the eclectic/grunge cachet for Seattle very well. Love the architecture, the furniture and most importantly the ambience....

I took several friends for dinner here before a performance at the Seattle Center. The restaurant itself seemed to have an undefined quality: high prices like a fine dining locale, but with loud music and sports television shining from the walls making it more of a ambience-free bar. The food was also a bit undefined. The Boar Bolognese was uninteresting... More

On the whole we had very tasty meals at Toulouse Petit. The standouts of our meals were the cauliflower and Dungenese crab soup, and the pancakes. The menu is extensive and not the usual fare. The service was a little slow, however the staff were proactive in fixing any errors. I would have given four stars if they had gluten... More

This is a place to linger. The decor is reminiscent of the Boullion Racine in Paris. It is quite Art Nouveau. We were seated promptly and the bartender was tasked to provide a Pastis de Ricard for myself and a St. Germaine Cocktail for my wife. Both tasks were accomplished quickly. We settled for the prix fixe dinner as it... More

Fun happy hour menu, plenty of different things for everyone to try. I've been here a few times and always been happy with what I got. Only issue I have ever had was I asked for a gin sour with egg whites and received a Ramos fizz (which has egg whites and cream). If you know anything about cocktails you... More

Our group of 4 visited this restaurant this past weekend and enjoyed an incredible feast. We ended up going with a mix of different dishes on the Prix Fixe menu and added one of their staples, jambalaya for good measure. The soup, salads, crawfish beignets, crab over fried green tomatoes, tuna tartare, scallops, bourbon ice cream, and creme brulee, were all... More

The attitude from the reservation manageress was very off since we arrived early and she said she would find us at the bar once our table was ready. She never did find us and we got lucky and found bar seats so never needed the pre booked table and when I went up to relinquish the table she was very... More

I never realized until this morning when I ordered beignets for the first time, that these are identical though a different shape to Paczki that by Babcia used to bake when we were children. Though my Babcia made them round and these beignets are triangles, the recipe is almost identical. My Babcia would think they stole her recipe as they... More

The eggs Benedict are good - nice eggs, a proper English muffin, moderate amounts of good Hollandaise sauce. The "Cured Carlton Farms Pork Cheeks Confit Hash" has some extremely strong, corrosive peppers in it and is unpleasant. Only eat this if you like chili vindaloo for breakfast. The large fruit plate is not the budget option but it is a... More

We stopped in around noon on a Wednesday and asked about reservations for Wed night and were told we couldn't get in until after 9:30 so we asked about Thursday or Friday nights and were told "we are really busy those nights" didn't even check to see!

Description
Centered around the cuisine, decor and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans and creating the feel of the Big Easy, Toulouse is one of the most intricate and ambitiously built restaurants in a generation.

At Toulouse we are tremendously committed to offering value in all of its various forms, which includes our intricate and texturally rich decor, cuisine prepared with discipline and skill, fabulous cocktails, a diverse Northwest and French centered wine list, unrepeatable and unique people, and accessible prices in an adult escapist and community environment.
