At around 11 on a Saturday we found street parking within a block. The place was packed and a few people appeared to be waiting, but they had a table for two for us. The service was excellent, the coffee was acceptable, and breakfast was fast, tasty, and came in portions that were sane. Huevos Rancheros vary as much as... More

Just kidding. I sat on a busted bar stool, drank tasteless Rainier lager out of the can (with a straw), and got into an argument with my husband. On the positive side, it was dry and relatively warm inside.

I first knew Linda's strictly as a bar but I'm going to share my thoughts on their weekend breakfast. Crafted together with a Tex-Mex flair, you have plenty of options between omelettes, benedicts and the like. I personally love the country fried steak myself but also a fan of most everything on the menu. The only improvement I'd make would... More

A friend of ours that lives in Seattle suggested this place while he was showing us around his neighborhood. It was pretty busy, they had an old jukebox (my favorite) and it was a regular spot for Kurt Cobain (RIP). I ate a burger and fries and it was actually one of the best I've had. We had a few... Lindas is one of my fav bars on the hill that hasn't been overrun by a lame crowd. Go here for weeknight drinks with friends to avoid a crowd. Nice bartenders, pool, jukebox, and a sweet backyard. Food too!

Christy was amazing! We ordered Mac and cheese and there was a problem in the kitchen but they totally took care of us. Appreciated the staff!

If you want the authentic Seattle experience, Linda's is actually the perfect destination, as it is staffed entirely by hipsters who are much too cool to provide even the most basic level of customer service. The waitstaff appear surprised when you invariably have to flag them down to request additional items, even when you've been sitting with empty drinks for... More

This was on my list of places to check out in Seattle based on a tip this was the last place Kurt Cobain was seen alive and based on my love of local dive bars. I wasn't disappointed! We went on a beautiful Saturday night and enjoyed the patio and meeting some awesome Seattle locals. The burger was delicious for... More

At some point or other, I think every person living in Seattle has gone through Linda's. It's a fantastic hole in the wall with a surprisingly nice patio out back. The food here is good and not too pricey and the drinks are great. You can play pool here but there is only one table so be prepared to meet... More

Excellent food and a casual atmosphere. We went in the early evening on a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. I'm sure it gets pretty packed on weekends or later at night though, so if you're not big on crowds, keep that in mind. Cool decorations for Halloween and great staff.

Linda's Tavern is one of the oldest bars on Capitol Hill and has always been "a nice place for nice people". We serve food late into the night and have the coldest, cheapest beers around.
