This place needs a cleaning bad. The Itl. Beef. Super salty. Way over priced got charged over 9 dollars for a sandwich. Not worth it won't be back. Unfriendly owner.

The gyro is full of meat. Good value. Hot dogs are okay as well. 100 word minimum review isn't necessary.

Been craving a good Chicago dog for the longest time. Happened to be antiquing in the area and happy that the decision was made to stop at Guido's. Skip the big box restaurants in the area and go here for good food. Seating is limited.

We typically get a gyros and/or Italian Beef with hot giardiniera and dipped. Both are fantastic. Fries are ok. A bit pricey (I think for a combo that included a drink and fries it was $12) but food is crazy good. Health inspection score 84. OK not great but did not stop us from eating there again. Will go back.

Hot dogs were great. Good prices. You really cannot mess up hot dogs. We dined on a Thursday at 6 PM. The place was empty. The place looks authentic hot dog shop. However, the tables were not wiped off. The guy working the restaurant was watching TV when we came in. He could have used his down time to clean.... More

Pretty cool rendition of Chicago shop. Fixed my craving for sure. Only have ever had the Chicago dog. Always think about Italian beef or gyro then cave to the crave. :)

We used to buy and drive down a load when visiting up north. No need with Guido's. Got our with hot peppers. Wonderful. Onion rings fantastic. Fires good. Sad they had no gyros or would have giving 5 stars. Chicago dog also authentic. Thumbs up!

I had lunch recently at Guidos while staying at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn. Though I live in Illinois, I'm no expert on Chicago style dogs. I had two of the original Chicago dogs. Really enjoyed them. The bun was very good, and did a good job of containing the dog and all its toppings. The dogs themselves were tender... More

Being from Chicago, I struggle to find authentic Chicago style food but hit a home run with the Italian beef sandwiches at Guidos! Great taste and truly authentic. Hot dogs not so bad but beef is terrific!!

I went to purchase the Italian sausage & beef sandwich which I love so much. 1st off the owner cheats on the sausage. He slices it then cuts it in half and gives you 2 slices. The grease for the fried food needs to be changed. It's dirty. Secondly this place needs to be cleaned. It is horribly filthy in... More
