Beautiful sunset at 5:30pm. Excellent drink menu. Mostly local, organically sourced food. Great Beach Tree Caprese appetizer, hand cut "guitar" spaghetti with Keahole lobster, fresh catch, braised short ribs, and, of course the dessert - banana split or the tiramisu.

Excellent food and gorgeous beach views from every table. The service is spotty and there are so many children that sometimes the atmosphere is lacking elegance. Try to go before sunset so you can watch the torches being lit and the conch shell being blown to the east, west, north and south.

We ate here several times during our stay at the Hualalai Four Seasons resort. Every time we were treated to some fantastic food, including choices from an extensive gluten-free menu. On our last night the (acting sous) chef – clearly talented – was kind enough to provide a one-off request for a couple of different pasta dishes. No, it's not... More

This is always one of the meals I look forward to the most. Located at the four seasons this restaurant is right on the beach. However this year it was a bit disappointing as they had changed the menu and not for the better, we had the antipasti appetizers which was very small and just ok for $25. I had... More

We love to setting at Beach tree, and really loved the fish tacos. An amazing treat to eat lunch in such a beautiful setting.

The setting is idyllic.... Right on the beach. You can watch the waves crashing, the sunset, everything. It is a Four Seasons, so be prepared to pay a bit. Drinks were around $15, and food around $23-50 each. Ok, so you know that. On to the food. We ate at the bar. I recommend the drink Tom's Pink Shirt, which... More

Some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. We had lunch here, and I had the ground beef tacos, which had just the right amount of spicy, and my husband had the mahi tacos, and we would recommend both. You get an awesome view of the beach in a nice relaxing setting with a really attentive and nice staff.

We at here more than once on during our stay on the island. Open air tables next to the beach. Can't beat the view. Lunch is classic and delicious. Dinner was delicious as well, but many families with kids during the dinner hour here...quite noisy. Do not miss the ceviche or the baba ganoush!

The setting is spectacular! Right on the beach, you see and hear the waves coming in. The restaurant is open, so you really can feel the ocean. Wonderful! Of course a location like this embedded in a Four Seasons resort has it price. How about $44 for the catch of the day (grilled fish on a salad) or $46 for... More

We ate here almost daily and enjoyed each and every meal. In our opinion, it is one of the best if not the best restaurant in the resort. Great food, service and excellent views! We'll miss this place for sure!

Renowned for its signature style of "barefoot elegance," the transformed Beach Tree has a Hawaiian beach house feel marked by 16-foot (5-metre) vaulted ceilings and expansive water views. Trellised seating allows for al fresco dining, and outdoor lounge spaces set the stage for the perfect beachfront cocktail. Chef de Cuisine Nick Mastrascusa – formerly of 57 restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel New York – oversees a menu featuring California cuisine with Italian influences. All wines on the wine list are offered by the glass, half carafe and full bottle. Cocktails feature tropical ingredients, fresh fruit and original combinations, and include the Beach Tree Smash, which mixes pear and lime, and Tom's Pink Shirt, which combines guava liqueur, fresh Waimea strawberries and house-made sweet and sour made from agave nectar and fresh lime juice.
