We stopped here after going to the Seahorse Farm. There were a lot of locals eating here. The food was good basic fare, the service was quick and this was probably one of the cheapest places we ate on the island. You order at the counter and then wait for your food and take it to your table. Basically fast-food... More

Came to Big Island for the day, at lunch here because it was close to airport. BEST mahimahi sandwich we have had in 10 days! And we have had a few.😆

Local cafe.... full of locals ! There must be a reason... Perhaps the really generous portions, at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy.. but tasty. We are taking plate lunch, not organic. Bin appetit !

We had heard they had good fish & chips here, so we decided to try it. First of all, the service was quite slow, even though they weren't very busy. Our order came, and the portions were huge! The fish was okay, but tasted like the oil it had been fried in was old which made the fish taste even... More

Recommended by a local, this was definitely a busy location during lunch time. The Katsu Dip, a chicken katsu dish deep fried with a Korean Asian marinade sauce was delicious! You should try that on your first visit as that is a menu item they're known for. The other menu items also looked tasty.

Great place to start your day after arriving on an early morning flight. Cafeteria style, order at the counter, find a table to sit, pick up when called and relax to finish your breakfast for energy to put in a great round of golf.

We ate here twice while we were in Kona. The mahi-mahi was excellent as was the Korean beef. Most of the people we shared the cafe with were locals, which indicates a good place to eat. The whole atmosphere is very casual (plastic forks etc.). The food is relatively cheap (for Kona area), and the servings are ample.

There must be 200 things on the menu here, and some of it changes daily. It can be a bit daunting to choose. This is a very casual place. Food comes in to-go containers with plastic forks, but there are plenty of tables inside and out to enjoy your food. We come here all the time, it's one of our... More

We stopped here because of a prior review, and found the food was excellent. Seems that all the locals come here for some large portions, cheap prices, and some unusual local Hawaiian dishes, and everything was delicious! Try their fried chicken, you won't leave hungry, guaranteed!
