As we rolled into the Martinez Station, woman on a Capitol Corridor train recommended Sunflower Garden. We walked the three blocks to the restaurant and into a comfortable looking bar. We were greeted immediately and offered our choice of seats in the almost empty dinning room. Since there were only two of us we ordered Lemon Chicken and House Special... More

A nice fancy decorated dining room with full bar. A large fish tank, huge round table for large groups. Food is fantastic and the soup is amazing.

I eat here all the time. It gets a bit noisy at times with the bar being near the tables but that is ok. 3 tvs for sports, outdoor seating. Only thing I wish they would put in is free wi Fi.

A regular with reasonable prices and great food and service. They have a full bar and a good selection of draft beers.

I don't often eat Chinese food, but when I do, I want something special and Sunflower is something special. First the staff are wonderful. Second the flavorings on the food are unique and everything doesn't taste the same. Third, they will accommodate special requests. This trip we had the walnut shrimp, general chicken, Hunan chicken and schezwan chicken. Each of... More

Since their move, their food and service has been excellent. The chow mein is delicious and the lunch specials are fast and filling. The bar area is fun and the staff is great!

My wife and were passing through downtown Martinez and stopped in on a whim after reading the reviews. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated in a comfortable booth. The menu is standard Chinese food - nothing imaginative but well-prepared and tasty - and the accompanying egg rolls were not the least bit greasy. The restaurant was clean... More

Very accommodating for our group of 10+. They ask how spicy you want your Mary's; I like 'em medium to high, and they nailed it. While the beef wasn't good, the chicken dishes were superb. Definitely will go back.

I am very particular on Chinese Food, and I only like certain things. If the items I really like aren't out of this world, I won't go back, unless it's convenient, cheap and decent. Dining here is convenient, and absolutely amazing, though slightly spendy. We can get a very nice meal comprised of appetizers and a few share-able entrees for... More
