Shrimp n grits were very good. One of the best things I ate in New Orleans. Good find behind Harrah's casino.

Just popped in for a drink to drink on a table in the sidewalk as we had a dog with us. Asked for three glasses of Chardonnay and was given a bill of $33. A rip off.

We shared a large (6 riblettes) St Louis Ribs = $23.00 Ice Tea = $2.50 each There is a very nice outdoor seating on the closed street section of Fulton Street. Several outside TVs are present. Service was friendly and attentive. Indoors was large with a sports bar feeling, but comfortable both in and out. The ribs were good, but... More

Visited after a football game, fantastic food for the price. Service was a little slow, but acceptable. Servers were very friendly and engaged with all.

The food here is great. Fresh oysters served raw or Char-grilled. The Tuna Tartare is to die for and served with house made chips. Great service and reasonable price. Right next to Harrah's casino.

The shrimp and grits were fantastic and the fried shrimp my wife had were excellent. We were just looking for a good meal at a convenient location within walking distance of our hotel. So glad we shared a meal here. This is the first review I have left for a restaurant and wanted to share our great experience. The wait... More

Honestly the BBQ Shrimp Roux was the best! This rich, dark, extremely flavorful dish was amazing! The sweet server, LaDonna was great! The Caesar Salad was unconventional but fantastic! We will definitely return!

Conveniently located (for my trip anyway) between the Hilton and the convention center, it seemed like a decent choice for dinner while traveling for work. The menu has lots of great options, and the server was very helpful in making recommendations. I ended up with a non-traditional shrimp po' boy that had spiced shrimp (not fried) and asian-flavored slaw. It... More

Of course had a great waiter, Mark. But all staff were cool. Great seafood. Awesome dessert. I was traveling alone so really appreciate restaurants who understand that and don't make me feel out of place.

Thank Peggy H

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
