We went in here to have a drink while we waiting for our family to arrive from the airport. The staff is kid of rude and not very attentive. Every time we went to have a drink there it was over crowded. We had a...More

My friend is addicted to the P and B oysters, and you must go between 3-6 pm for half-price happy hour for oysters and wine/beer. You can wait in line forever at Acme or Felix's and have crappy service, or go to Luke for the...More

This place has great food, service and ambience. It was very busy but called ahead and was seated within 10 minutes. Waiters were friendly and entertaining. The stuffed oysters were the best I've ever eaten. This place will not disappoint.

Definitely check this place out. Cocktails are really good and the burger is HUGE, but so amazing! Fries were on point. I will definitely be back.

Ok. We arrived here during happy hour. The French cocktail=beyond amazing. The oysters-fresh, delicious. Our servers: beyond courteous, helpful and just down right pleasant. The brussels sprouts: ---- a hands down must have. We split the Luke burger: which was a great decision. Amazing experience.

Stumbled upon this place right outside our hotel. Great food and great service. Presentation was outstanding. The presentation of the Shrimp & Grits made me wish I had ordered that but my BLTAE was divine!

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Early evening, before the drinking begins in earnest, would be great for a child, a well behaved one. Great service too.

Luke New Orleans is Besh's homage to the grand old Franco-German brasseries that once reigned in New Orleans. Luke offers an extensive French, German, and Belgian beer selection, including three exclusive house brews [custom-made in Louisiana]. The cuisine is unaffectedly Old World, using slow and traditional cooking techniques. The wine list features reds and whites from the Loire, Alsace, and Savoie regions, as well as Badischerwiens of Germany. Since opening in 2007, Luke has been hailed by Conde Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and The Times-Picayune Lagniappe, which awarded Luke an impressive three bean-ranking for its "disarmingly home-spun culinary touches and broad-shouldered dishes that satisfy something more than just an appetit."
